โI truly enjoyed my stay here. I loved the historical significance of this hotel. I rated it exceptionally well because one must understand that the hotel is over 175 years old.
Sri Lanka has to recognize the importance of preserving this historical part of town. So much potential in these golden age buildings โ
โSeriously, other bad reviews are exagerated. People expect to have a palace for 20$?? The room was perfectly find for this kind of budget hotel. Staff was very kind and helpfull. Neighbourhood can be creepy on sundays and at night but ok during the day. Bed was confortable. I had a view on the city and the lotus tower on the 6th floor. โ
โHad stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks with my Family.
The apartment was fully furnished with all appliance & very well maintained in a quiet locality. Best part it had a supermarket & laundry service in house.
Would Highly recommend for future visits.
The host was very cooperative too.

โOld villa in heart of Colombo , tastefully renovated , quiet and clean . Very comfortable bed , clean kitchen and good food .
Mr Asangha Perera and his team at the admin desk were very capable and attentive .
He was in touch with us few days before our arrival , and since we were arriving late , took an order and made sure our dinner was delivered on our arrival .
