Set in a nice bush type setting with easy and close access to beach. Ideal for families with young children.

Last minute rush to assist one of our daughters so booked late. All sorted after initial hiccough and generous off of free cuppas for the mix up. The property is in a great spot. The trees and pool and surrounds are lovely and the units a good size. I wasn’t prepared for all the steps. A couple of issues with the sliding doors in our unit - couldn’t lock the ones on to the veranda. Overall a great spot. Just need a ground floor :)

Raintrees was quiet, relaxing and close to everything. Even if you did not have a car you could easily get around. Loved the fact that the units are self contained, so therefore you did not have to hunt around for laundry, restaurants if you were on a budget you could eat in house via BBQ etc.

Loved our stay here. Location was great. Wish the kitchen would have had a little more basics, and the wifi never worked. Otherwise really enjoyed being here, we will be back!

I wish I could say this was one of the worst places ever stayed just so I can keep coming back whenever I want and not being booked out but in fairness to the owners… this place was awesome!! We stayed in one of the best, well equipped apartments I have ever stayed and not mention the pool was 5m away, a private beach access- 5m from back door then 15m walk to the beautiful beach. Can’t get much better than that ! The “rainforest” outlook made it feel as if you were completely surrounded in lush rainforest. This is the perfect family holiday retreat ! We’ll be back for sure !

Filth Filth and more Filth
This property is poorly managed and poorly kept. I travel every week for work and pleasure. This has to be the absolute worst I have seen in many years. The filth inside this apartment has taken years to build up to the levels we saw. Every surface was a source of filth and grime. The cleaning staff have obviously never been training in the correct way to clean an apartment. I thought the filthy stains on my towel was the highlight. Please note the state of the cushions...I washed one and not the other. You will get the idea.

Our property was beautifully decorated, well kitted out and very comfortable. There’s secure, underground parking and the pool was great fun for the kids.

Very run down/dated. Property advertised a hot tub. There is no spa/hot tub. No dishwasher tablets to use dishwasher. Needs a renovation!!

Excellent location. Property starting to date but definitely does the job and was exactly what we needed for our stay. Would’ve been nice if there was a small hotel size washing powder sachet to allow us the ability for one wash. Was also very disappointing that the heating wasn’t working on the pool, and that we weren’t advised it wouldn’t be working in advance (it was broken and being fixed), as we had told the kids they would be able to swim throughout our stay. :-( Pool was great with a slide, the kids loved that, but without the heating it was too cold. Otherwise all was fine, the owners were lovely.

Our stay was in apt 16, which was lovely. It has a week equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area and 3 good size bedrooms and great showers. Just open the doors and listen to the ocean!

Whilst the location is amazing its such a shame to rely just on that... the experience started when I received the check in details on my booking, I noticed it was check from 2pm as you would expect, however reception closed at 2pm so I rang and was told that tried to get everyone in by 2pm??? As the units are owned individually I imagine every experience could be different, however our unit no 9 was in desperate need of a deep clean, whilst the bathrooms were clean, every other aspect of the property was tired and dirty and needed repairs and refurbishment, such a shame as it could be so much more :( sadly I won't be back.

I loved the spacious unit, being close to the pool. The short walk to beach and local shop was extra handy. The only thing that hasn’t left my mind is the multiple huntsman spiders inside the unit. The management team were amazing, very friendly and helpful.

It was beautiful to be amongst rainforest so close to the beach. The unit was excellent for the 5 of us - large, clean and the vibe made it easy to relax. So lovely to walk to get coffee, dinner, or play outside. We will be back.
