"Everything about this place is top notch. It’s clean - and I mean clean, clean - , the staff is fantastic, food is great, and the rooms are spacious. Good location, too. We were made feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and they remembered me by name or room number without me having to say anything. Wonderful. Nepal itself is absolutely amazing, too. One of the best trips of our lives. City is super clean; no garbage bags scattered everywhere and no sewage- or garbage-smells. Artisans everywhere; whether it’s metalsmithing , woodworking, painting, or food. The people are refined and polite. Absolute treat. Still very much a hidden gem and one we’d love to go back to. Mind you we traveled with two kids, one of which is only 2 years old."

I used the pool late afternoon and it was pretty cold- even though they said the sun would heat it during the day. "This hotel is clean, close to many restaurants, shops and central to all things tourist life but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood area so very quiet at night. The restaurant has good food too. If you want authentic Nepalese cuisine ask for it as normally they tone down the chili for the tourists. Breakfast was good. AC works great too as well as fast WiFi. Staff and Service were exceptional as they kept our bags for a few days when we were trekking tigers. We would stay here again."
