숙소 찾는다면 바로 이곳!
역과도 무척 가까웠으며 호텔은 물론 호텔 주변까지 청결도가 매우 좋았습니다. 생각했던것 보다 방도 크고 쾌적 ! 어디 흠잡을 곳이 없다 할정도로 좋았어요 !! 시드니 또 가게되면 다시 잡을 예정이에요

Clean, cozy hotel with nice cafe
I used a standard room. It was neat, cozy and very spacious. The best thing about this hotel was location. It’s 3min away from kings cross station (3 stations away from city) and cafes & restaurants so it was very convenient to stay. And comparing to other hotels with 3 stars, it’s relatively cheap! It’s old and small hotel but it has many advantages and I wanna come back for sure :D

위치는 상당히 좋습니다. 잘때 추워서 달달 떨면서 잤네요 전열기구가 없어서 아쉬웠습니다. 조식은 호텔아래 카페에서 제공합니다. 맛도 상당히 괜찮았습니다. 베이컨보다는 소시지 추천합니다.

역에서 조금 걸어 가는기 아쉽지만, 주택가에 있어 조용하고 편안하게 쉴수 있는 곳이었다. 의외로 주변에 교통편과 조금만 걸으면 갈수 있는 곳이 많아 좋았다

KING CROSS역 인근에 위치하고 있어 접근성이 좋음. 주위에 다국적 메뉴 식당(스시, 타이, 중국, 말레이지아, 케밥 등) 이 있음. (성인 남자 걸음으로) 도보로 25분 정도면 CIRCULAR QUAY 도달 가능함. 주인장이 친절하며 Informative함. 단, wifi 세기,속도는 매우 불만족.

조식이 너무 마음에 들었습니다. 주인분도 너무 좋으셨고, 가장 안쪽 방에 지냈었는데 그래서 그런지 와이파이가 조금 약했습니다. 객실에서 샤워실 들어가면 와이파이 끊기더라고요. 하지만 욕실에서 쓸일이 그닥 없으니 상관없으실 듯 합니다. 에어컨션은 청소 상태가 좋지 않아 아쉬웠지만, 전체적으로 저는 좋았습니다. 그리고 킹스크로스에서 떨어져있기는 하지만 아무래도 저녁은 위험합니다. 예약시 참고하시면 좋을거 같아요. 호텔은 안전해요. 킹스크로스역에서 호텔 올때 심야면 조심해야 합니다 저는 너무 잘 쉬고 왔습니다~!

킹스크로스 주변지역으로 시티에서 약 2.5km떨어져 있어서 약간 시티에서 걸어가긴 멀었고, 객실은 비교적 가격대비 깨끗한 편임.. 비교적 가격고려시 만족한 숙박임.

Excellent!
Small, well-kept hotel, attended by the owner George, who is extremely attentive and friendly. Very well located 300 m from the train station. Coles supermarket and several restaurants and cafes nearby. It was our second stay at this hotel and whenever we return to Sydney we will stay there.

Bijou but adequate to wash and sleep.
The room was small but it contained all I needed. The en-suite was fully equipt. The most striking thing was the excellent quality of the bedding and towels. This is not a place to sit around in but there are bars and restaurants outside and Kings Cross centre is a few yards away.

Petit hotel très agréable pour visiter Sydney
Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans cet hôtel et tout était parfait. J'ai apprécié l'accueil des propriétaires et leur gentillesse. Le petit déjeuner en terrasse est bien agréable et il est très bon. La chambre et la literie sont confortables. Un frigidaire est à disposition ainsi que des boissons chaudes. L'hôtel est bien situé dans un quartier animé et proche des transports en commun. The location was really good for me - Vibrancy in the evening and quiet mornings. Room was clean and all that was needed for sleeping in. It was also quiet. I would have liked to meet the staff/reception? Im assuming they were in the Cafe? Which was always closed when we were up and about or coming home. Hard to find some local knowledge when not familiar in the city. Great WIFI...

Better than expected. They have a small restaurant open for breakfast and lunch. Very good food. Very friendly staff. Sheets were ironed. If you are carrying heavy luggage consider there are steps for getting to the rooms that are in a second floor.

George, the innkeeper, was friendly and helpful. He carried our luggage up and down the stairs. The breakfast choices included in the room rate were hearty and delicious. The hotel is located in a vibrant area with lots of restaurants. It's just a few blocks from the subway. Our only disappointment was that the shower either ran very hot or very cold and we couldn't find a happy medium.

the price was reasonable. the breakfast (additional cost) was very very good; it was also nice to eat outside (our choice...there is also a cafe inside)). the location is good...we could walk to the botanical gardens, opera house and the metro (subway) although it's a bit confusing initially, due to the shape of the harbour...difficult to get our bearings

Ich kann nicht verstehen, wie dieses Hotel solch gute Bewertungen bekommen kann. Das Zimmer war winzig, man konnte nicht mal seinen Koffer auf den Boden legen. Der Zustand des Zimmers war alt und abgelebt, es war alles andere als gemütlich. Das WLAN war ein schlechter Scherz.

My home away from home
I try to stay at Hotel 59 every time I visit Sydney. It is a family run hotel and George, Kathy and their Dad (who makes great French toast) have made me feel like one of the family. Morning breakfast in the cafe is always fun with the opportunity for great conversation. The neighborhood itself is quiet, but a short walk away from the subway and the action of Kings Cross. The rooms are comfortable with good bedding and all the amenities to make for a comfortable stay. It’s the personal touch that makes all the difference for me which is why I keep coming back. I’m already looking forward to my next (as yet unplanned) trip to Sydney!

George was a fantastic host... helpful, funny, and knowledgeable. He took the time to show us the best routes, and he made a suggestion of a spot to visit we had not considered... it turned out to be one of the high points of our trip. Basic room with fridge, good wifi, off hour access, and a great breakfast. The location is also very good as it is close and walkable to Kings Cross Station, bus stops, markets, restaurants, and sights.

近市中心的超值選
房間雖小，但應有的設施都有，如對房間沒有太多要求，絕對是好選擇。位置近市中心，方便遊覽。附近食肆林立，選擇多。價錢十分平，超值選擇。

Great stay
I stayed here for six nights while visiting Sydney and had a great stay. Location is conveniently located two blocks from the Kings Cross station, yet the hotel is in a quiet and upscale neighborhood. It was a basic and clean accommodation with all the basic amenities that a minimalist traveler needs: tv, mini fridge, air/heat, and private bathroom with clean towels/soap/shampoo. I ate breakfast at their cafe every morning and ordered bacon and eggs. Breakfast was always delicious. George and Kathy and their dad were excellent hosts. George was easy to talk to. Taking the door-to-door shuttle from and to the airport is recommended. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again when in Sydney.

Very well organized. Not expensive. Friendly owner. Only complaint: Internet is slow (as it is in the whole Australia, by the way). Overall, it was great.

A nice B&B in the middle of the city
Property was a good budget hotel, situated within 5-10 minutes walk from Kings Cross Station. It's a little hard to find at first, but look for the "59". The property is family-run so everyone is very friendly and welcoming, and they will go one step beyond to help out within reason - a much more personal touch than at larger hotels. It's not sophisticated and the owner sets expectations when you book, so don't go looking for 4 or 5 star hotel type amenities. The breakfast was very good, and certainly puts a nice touch to the stay. The room was adequate - it had AC and was clean. The only area that I wouldn't mind more improvement is the Internet. The speeds were generally slow and a bit inconsistent. Although it was okay for sending messages and surfing the Internet, it was a bit laggy for WhatsApp calls and things like that. I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra for the room if a better service was available. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would consider staying at this property again in the future.

Super bel emplacement à proximité de tout. Vous prenez une passe pour le métro et/ou autobus ( marche pour les deux ) et vous vous rendez à tous les sites les plus connues de Sydney. Le petit déjeuner de l’hotel est bon et le café merveilleux. il y a plein de petit restaurant dans les alentours. Petit hôtel de 9 chambres super tranquille. Nous avions dans notre chambre un petit frigo et un kit pour se faire du café et du thé.Si vous arrivez après les heures d’ouverture il y a une boite à clé facile à comprendre sur le bord de la porte d’entrée. Hôtel toujours barré. Bon rapport qualité prix car en Australie le coût de la vie est chèr. Il y a une épicerie à 2 coins de rue avec du poulet cuit et de la salade pour un coût de 20$ pour 2 personnes..... il y avait une table et deux chaises dans notre chambre. Le restaurant OVO ( brésilien ) est super mais attendez-vous à une facture de 100$ Je recommande cet hôtel George le proprio se dévoue pour vous aider à planifier vos itinéraires

A home away from home
This was a return visit for me to Hotel 59. What can I say? I really looked forward to seeing George, his sister Kathy and their Dad (who seems to do most of the cooking). It was like coming back to visit friends. This is a family run hotel and is a breath of fresh air compared to the large chains. I always have interesting discussions with George in particular. This is not a deluxe accommodation, but it is comfortable, breakfast is included and the rooms have what you need. The accommodations are very reasonably priced, but the morning conversations and good tidings are priceless. As someone who travels frequently, it is these human touches that make for my most memorable stays.
