TERRIBLE!!
Hotel charges thousands of dollars for the room with the harbor view for the fire works and yet they dont even bother to clean the windows. The fireworks was difficult to see because the window was so dirty. The room size was also mediocre compared to other 4~5 start hotels. Overall a terrible experience and absolute waste of money. Never going back.

고급 호텔에서 기대할 수 있는 모든 퀄리티 있는 서비스를 받아 볼 수 있습니다. 아쉬운 점은 호텔 주변의 철거 및 시공 공사로 아침 7시부터 시끄러운 굉음이 있다는 점 입니다. 또한 직원들의 영어 실력이 아쉬어, 여러 실수가 있었습니다(비용 오결재 등).

Great Hotel in Sydney.There is nothing to complain
I stayed at the Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour from November 28th to December 4th with my family. This hotel provided the great service and facilities. There is nothing to complain and we stayed in a good condition. Since this hotel rather newly built and prestigious level of the hotel managed by Accor Group, I would like to comment that I felt sorry while I was staying. 1. If the guests are Asian, I think this hotel might not be satisfactory. There is little Asian food served. What I had was Kimchi and Noodle. Furthermore, the bread offered were french based like a baguette. I think that this hotel follows the authentic french styles. In my case, I was not happy to enjoy breakfast. On the contrary, if the guests would like to enjoy french styles, this hotel will be a great choice. 2. If you are going to hire a rent a car, this hotel might not be good for you to choose. I hired the rent a car at the Sydney International airport and used my car for 6 days in the hotel with valet parking service. I did not ask whether I can park my car in the parking lot by myself or not. Anyway, I had to pay AU$79 a day. 3. Ventilation noise was so horrible that we had to turn off every night. My room number was 1712 and my daughter could sleep when it was turned on. I complained against its noise. I hate to think like that, but I think that the room condition was already perceived and they just let us check in and use the room with praying no complaint.

Lovely clean and new hotel in a great quiet location at Darling harbour. Everything you need is available, and the buffet breakfast is fabulous, with lovely hot barista made coffee. Would stay again.

Construction happening right under the hotel made our experience really bad. We chose this hotel for 2 nights and paid for the room with the harbour view to celebrate our birthdays and anniversary. Every morning there was construction starting from 7.30 am. Would not recommend anyone to choose this place if you’re a light sleeper. Spend your money somewhere else

We are very lucky to be located in Sydney where there are constant enhancements being made. Sometimes there is noise from these enhancements and sometimes there is no noise at all. Because we live in such a dynamic city we are unable to advise every guest of everything that is happening around us simply because it changes daily and is beyond our control. Nice rooms and convenient location. Excellent breakfast. As at early April there are works taking place by the pool. Would recommend generally with one caveat- its worth noting that (unlike many other hotel chain loyalty schemes) Accor will not give loyalty points for stays booked via Expedia.

I expected it’s a 5 star hotel but I found a few small insects in the toilet & the washbasin was clogged….. other than it’s a great hotel.
