Didnt even stay, place is filthy. The office is yellow inside from neglect. There was a screaming intoxicated person having to be contatined in an ambulance rifht out the front door. Staff was absolutly rude and completley unhelpful. Will never ever step foot on the property again

The new owners staff was very friendly and accommodating, but the property needs to be renovated. The price is way too expensive for the property in the condition it is.

The owner was super nice but we checked in 3 hrs late because he needs to clean all the rooms as he is the only one working. Overall he feel bad and he was apologetic so that is enough for us. Hope they upgrade the rooms as it is everything is old and outdated. Our room wad super hot aand no a/c that we can control.

Do not stay here. If you are a traveler passing through, spend the extra dollars and go literally anywhere else. From time of check in to a frenzied 1am checkout I was stalked by several of the tenants. This is not the place for you. Please be warned. The telephone also had graffiti on it stating "EAT ME." That should tell you enough.

They asked us to pay before we stayed there ok no problem but when I got there there was a $100 damage deposit…. When we left they told us we smoked in the room and whereby going to give it bad after 45 of fighting with me we got it back. This place is a drive don’t recommended to anybody. No heat the first night and way to much heat the next night.

Very good stay

It was very good stay. Hotel is located right on the beach which is very convenient. Hotel has a kitchenette. Lots of restaurants are nearby.

OK place to stay

If you come to Sylvan Lake to enjoy beach and lake and have a limited budget, Beach Front Resort is right place to stay. Located at the beach and lake. Has a kitchenette and free parking.

You get exactly what you pay for, close to the beach and super welcoming staff. Pretty outdated but worked for our weekend stay

The property is very old and not maintained. Needs lots of work. Very old looking. Will not go back.

Basic budget friendly

For a budget friendly property, one night stay, it worked just fine for us. The owner is very friendly & accommodating. This building is quite old & could use a refresh..paint, carpets, new mattresses & bedding would go a long way to make it more cozy. It wasn’t terribly comfortable but nice location. Significant snow overnight was cleared promptly & we enjoyed our short visit to town.

Love the two people that ran it. Super friendly! Let us enjoy a fire right infont of the beach. The rooms.. old, super uncomfortable and filthy beds, it was chilly the night we stayed with no heat turned on. Wish I could say we’d stay again, but the rooms were pretty gross.

I took three of my children here for a few days to get away from Edmonton. It was our first vacation since March 2020. I usually opt for international travels for my vacations so this was a little different. Instead of urban wandering I found myself enjoying the peace and views offered by Sylvan Lake. This motel was the perfect place to be. It is easy to find. Right across from the lake. Offers free parking and is owned by a very polite and friendly couple. The room was clean and well cared for. The owners asked us daily if there was anything we needed. Everyone was very friendly. There is a giant yard at the front of the building which is a great meeting place. Spent a few nights there having a drink or two while watching people, vehicles driving up and down the street and the sunset. If you are looking for a nice, quiet, well run place to spend a few days to relax and unwind this would be it.

Bad: The room was tiny, no AC, shower was a small tube and the toilet shifted when sat down. The coffee in the room was gross. It smelled and our neighbors smoked in the room that came through the wall. The beds are bricks with cement blocks for pillows. Good: customer service was exceptional! All of our requests and concerns were addressed immediately. And the location!!!! Perfect! Also the only hotel with a green space and fire pit to use.

The friendliest staff ever! They were so sweet and helpful when we had TV issues, we had our room upgraded at no charge, the mini fridge and microwave were spotless. It’s cheap AND right across from the lake, such an underrated place, we’ll definitely be going back !!
