One thing I found misleading was the comments that the hotel included a shuttle to the airport which was not true. It should state hotel will arrange transportation to airport at customer cost and not listed misleading statements such shuttles to airport. Be honest hotel price is reasonable.

This was my 4th stay at Hotel Las Mercedes, and the upstairs has been completely remodeled - excellent property, friendly staff, and the breakfast is wonderful! The perfect place to stay whether coming or going via Quito airport!

Ottimo per chi é di passaggio. Nuovo e pulito
Albergo pulito , titolare cordiale, mobili della camera nuovi, coperte e cuscini nuovi e puliti, bagnetto piccolino ma in ordine e pulito, mi hanno preparato la colazione con mezz'ora di anticipo perché avevo l'aereo presto. Vicinissimo all'aeroporto, con 7-8 dollari il taxi ti ci porta. Buona ricezione della Wi-Fi. Ideale per pernottamenti in vista di viaggi aerei. Quando arrivi stanco ed hai bisogno di riposarti per ripartire qui lo puoi fare in totale relax e silenzio. E soprattutto una grande attenzione per la pulizia, almeno questa è ciò che ho trovato io. Insomma, ci tornerei di sicuro se fossi di passaggio per Quito.

Simple & convenient (near UIO)
I booked this hotel near the airport as my flight was arriving late and I needed a day away from it all to relax before heading into the city. The rate seemed OK but turned out to be a bit overpriced for such a simple place BUT it was clean and had what I needed. I had some questions beforehand and reached out using the contact feature of Hotels.com's site and received a friendly reply from a staff member in English two days later which was very helpful. I used the airport transfer which was good - my flight was delayed so I was even later in arriving that night. This is a small hotel, maybe ~twelve rooms? Staff were good, a simple breakfast was included in the rate, and all my basic needs were satisfied. I wondered if I had booked earlier if the price would have been a little less - paid in US$ at the hotel.

Decent, cheap option near airport
Decent cheap choice for an overnight airport layover (10 min drive from airport). Quiet area except for airplane flight path (the price you pay for being near the airport). The room was clean and comfortable enough, but there was very poor sound insulation (could hear people coming and going and talking in the lobby at various times during the night and early morning). The staff member we met on arrival was welcoming and attentive, but spoke very little English and was not able to process a credit card for some reason so we had to pay for the room in cash. Not much to see/do/eat in the local area; a round trip into Quito is possible by taxi (30 min drive each way).

Was good, however was promised two waters which were not provided (I know it seems petty but when you don't have a chance to buy any form anywhere around a complimentary bottle of water goes a long way) the mattress was comfortable but quite small for a double and my husband and I had to sleep on our sides to both fit in the bed (we are not overly large people) we had an early flight so we missed out on the complimentary breakfast, I had read a review where another customer was in the same situation and they packed her a breakfast to go, when I asked about this we had no such luck. Still very clean and modern little place that served its purpose of not having to travel all the way into Quito for a nights sleep

Cozy home away from home
I stayed at the hotel Las Mercedes for 3days..first off its convenient to and from the airport very close a taxi will cost you about 8 bucks the owners are very nice people they will go above and beyond to make your stay a great one. Only downfall is hotel is pretty far from a lot of places..went to Mitad del Mundo that was about 30 minutes away in taxi..in Quito but overall had a wonderful stay and they do serve breakfast and yes hot water works and WiFi works great.

Perfect, if you need to be close to the airport
This is a great hotel, when you have a late flight in or an early flight out of Quito. It is literally no more than 10 minutes away from the airport. The location of this hotel, however, is not great if you want to see more of Quito, since that is another 45 minutes and $25 away. Worked out perfectly for me and the owner, Christian, is a great guy who will bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable. For the price, this is undoubtably a gem!

Great place for a rest near the Quito airport!
This a cute boutique hotel located in a country setting, but still near excellent restaurants serving affordable typical food. The room was comfy, clean, and quiet accept for an occasional plane overhead. The couple that owns the hotel speak English and provide you with free coffee and tea. Breakfast is also included. They called us a taxi when we were ready to fly home.

Close to the airport
It was convenient close to the airport we got driven by the hotel back to the airport next day. The room was too small otherwise it suited us.

Wir haben nur eine Nacht dort geschlafen und sind am nächsten Tag weitergeflogen. Die Inhaber des Hotels waren sehr freundlich und fuhren uns auch am morgen zum Flughafen.

Just 10 minutes from the airport
Very convenient if you want to avoid long transfers into Quito. This is almost an airport hotel, just 10 minutes from the airport. Very helpful staff.

キト空港に夜到着し、翌早朝の出発に備えて１泊。キト市内まで行くより時間もお金も節約できる。１泊の滞在であれば設備は必要十分。スタッフ（夫婦？）はとても親切。早朝２時、３時の出発客にもなれていて、遅れないようにタクシーを呼んで送り出してもらえた。また同じような機会が有れば利用したい。

Ok for a quick night of rest
Pretty much was a bed close to the airport. Location is nice if you need something close to the airport for a night, but wasn't much more than that. There were insects in the room and the water did not heat up. Basically, if you want a cheap bed for the night, go for it, otherwise no.

Served its' purpose of a place to sleep
We were looking for a hotel close to the Quito airport. We arrived around midnight. Driving there, I was a little unsure of my choice. Looked like a rough part of town. Everything had block walls around it. Our cab driver rang a bell and the gate opened so that we could enter the courtyard. A very nice young lady met us. She didn't speak English very well. She showed us to our room and gave us 2 bottles of water. The room was small. There was a bed with a small nightstand on either side and a small bathroom. The taxi was picking us up at 6 so we slept there and that was it. Served the purpose well. It was only about 10 minutes from airport.

Located behind house. Room was ok. Some bugs and no hot water. Staff was nice and helpful. Didn't sleep well there. Biggest plus was both staff and proximity to airport. 10 minutes and $10 dollars away for an early flight. Next time would likely stay in Quito and handle the 40 minute drive for a hot shower.

First Trip to Ecuador from USA
Came from the airport to the hotel to be greated by a young women that did not speak English but assured my there would be someone arriving... this is midnight. While waitiing she made me a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and hot tea... a nice, comforting surprise. All my luggage was in my room so that made everthing easier. Soon a young man, Christopher, arrived. Explained everything to me. They ask to be paid in advance and with cash. No problem. We chatted a bit. I slept through breakfast the next day (it had a long trip and preparation was exhausting) so I slept into the late afternoon. When i finally started moving and left my room for their little restaurant. Knowing I was now hungry she drove me to a nearby restaurant, came in and helped me order, and returned 1 hour later to bring me back. Amazing service. Thank you Christopher and Vicky! we will return

this is not really a hotel, but rather the back house of a home in a neighborhood near the Quito airport. While the staff were helpful, taxi drivers were utterly unable to find the place, and we were stranded on the roadside by drivers more than once. Be aware that if the hotel offers to drive you to the airport, the driver will ask for $8 in cash upon arrival at the airport.

Charm galore and service outstanding
I got in from the Galápagos much later than I expected and the hotel was just a charm. They washed all my wet clothes and got them back to me in the same evening. I was leaving in the morning before breakfast was scheduled so they gave me my breakfast as an evening meal which was brilliant as I hadn't bad time to eat with all my flight delays. The service was fantastic and the staff very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the area was quiet. As I had an early morning flight I was avoiding a long trip into Quito city, being close to the airport meant I saved both money and time not having to take long taxi rides. Turns out that was a blessing being delayed for 3 hours in flight then having a 10 minute trip to the hotel instead of upward of 45 minutes. My only downside was at 5:30 am the shower was only lukewarm, but for me it wasn't a problem as I had showered the night before with no hot water issue. Also if you are expecting a hustling bustling Quito city outside your door, this is not for you. I didn't get time to go out and explore the area I was staying, I will say at first glance in the taxi, there isn't a lot to do late at night in the area around the hotel, I didn't really see any bars or restaurants. But if you're looking for a quick and easy trip to and from the airport, a quite night and a comfortable bed this place would be perfect for you.
