"We visit St Malo every year and decided to stay at the Hôtel Anne de Bretagne for the first time. It was wonderful and we will definitely be making it the hotel we return to."
"Stayed for two nights.
Hotel is large but has plenty of space to find a quiet spot. The spa (saltwater pools, health themed) is excellent and one of the core reasons for the stay. Plenty of parking on site and dog friendly. All staff very nice.
Welcome was good. Room was nice (garden sea view room) but wasn’t large, plenty of room for 2 nights but could feel a bit cramped for a longer stay. The place is pricy but worth it overall. Breakfast was very good. Evening meal in Osens was expensive and not as good as we hoped for."
"Stayed here as a family of 6 and honestly couldn’t fault it overall.
The location is great - around 10 minutes’ drive into the walled city and harbour, about 7 minutes to the aquarium, plus loads of supermarkets, restaurants and shops nearby, so everything you need is within easy reach.
We had our car with us and the free onsite parking was a massive win. Plenty of spaces, no circling the car park hoping for a miracle.
We arrived pretty late but reception is open 24/7 and the welcome was still warm and friendly. Our room was gorgeous - spotlessly clean, super comfy beds, a lovely big bathroom and everything felt modern and well looked after. We visited during the 38-40°C heatwave, so the air conditioning deserves its own 5-star review… it made sleeping an absolute dream!
The only little thing I’d have loved was complimentary bottled water in the room. In those temperatures it would’ve been a really nice touch.
Breakfast was the only thing that didn’t quite hit the mark. It wasn’t bad, just pretty basic for the extra cost, so next time we’d save our money and grab breakfast elsewhere.
Would we stay again? Absolutely. Stylish hotel, friendly staff, great parking, comfy rooms and an ideal base for exploring Saint-Malo. Easy recommendation from us."
"We stayed overnight before catching the ferry. We were impressed with the hotel and staff, especially that the hotel had air conditioning. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of choices"
