Hotellet ligger langt væk fra byen og er en smule nedslidt. Dog opvejes det af super venlige værter og en spændende madoplevelse. Onsen er også lækker - med flere forskellige muligheden for enten privat, familie eller fælles.
Situé au coeur des montagnes ce ryokan est parfait pour une retraite de détente (1h15 en bus). Les rotenburo sont superbes et accessibles h24 ! Sans compter la cuisine kaiseki servie en demi pension, un délice. Personnel accueillant et attentionné. Nos deux jours à Suimeikan ont été un vrai bonheur !

Overall quite good. Disadvantage is no private bathroom, even toilet are public....
Expérience magique! Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner dans ce Ryokan alors qu'il venait de beaucoup neiger et c'était magique! Se retrouver dans un onsen à 41 degrés alors qu'il fait -5 et qu'il neige abondamment est une expérience magique! Le Ryokan est assez isolé mais facilement accessible en bus, ( et petit contrairement à d'autres que nous avons croisés sur le chemin du bus) nos hôtes sont adorables et ne savent pas quoi faire pour être agréables. Le Diner typique japonais servi dans la salle de restaurant est très bon et une belle expérience pour nous occidentaux. Le petit déjeuner est japonais également. La gentillesse du personnel est remarquable. On peut privatiser 3 des onsens, je recommande le 3 qui donne sur la rivière et est en pierres naturelles.
Le seul bémol est pour moi le futon pas assez épais pour etre confortable.. sinon vraiment à recommander
