"Very helpful staff Excellent wifi Huge (too big?) room for 1 person I didn’t try the breakfast or pool so no comments about them. I had a room at the back on a high floor & traffic noise was really loud during the day but thankfully it went to almost 0 after dark so I slept ok. Not a lot of places of interest close by but there were good eating places across the road then go to the left then first right towards the river The keycards were frustrating as numerous times I had to get them "recharged" as they stopped working. I'll stay again for sure if I ever go back to Melaka"

"One of the worst hotel experience I've ever had. upon arriving to the hotel I was given the wrong room (booked a double and was given a single room). When checking with the reception I was told the hotel was fully booked and they don't have any double rooms available. I contacted Hotels.com customer support and they were not able to reach the hotel to sort the room problem. The room was clean but very small with a small single bed and a shower that is guaranteed to flood the bathroom every time you use it. Also, the room was on the ground floor near the lifts which meant I was constantly hearing the noises and dings from the lifts and the people using them. Breakfast and the room service dinner were ok. Furthermore, when I was checking out I was told I had to pay for the room again as the receptionist claimed they haven't received the payment details from Hotels.com. Again, Hotels.com CS couldn't reach the hotel to sort this out and I had to pay again and request a refund for the original payment which luckily Hotels.com got sorted."

"We booked the twin room and got a room on the upper floor which was perfect for us. Steps to get there were wide and easy to climb. Room was clean and great for a short stay. Bed was comfy which is important. Bathroom was also very clean - also important. Air conditioner worked extremely well, we found that we didn’t have to use it too much. Very happy with the stay and enjoyed the artwork around the house. Don’t forget to visit the rooftop. Lovely!"
