"Tried to make an appointment for a message no time was available. The magnesium pool was not available, so didn’t check the spa. Adult pool was very nice, clean and quiet."

"Despite its premium pricing by Moroccan standards, this hotel fails to deliver a true five-star experience. Service is slow, inconsistent, and often inattentive, with management appearing overly focused on delegation rather than actively supporting operations. A more hands-on leadership approach is clearly needed. The beach service was particularly poor, with staff rarely engaging guests and even displaying unprofessional behaviour during a heated staff dispute. The adults’ pool area also felt neglected, with disengaged lifeguards and little effort to manage sunbeds or maintain cleanliness. Dining lacked consistency, from unclear service standards to disorganised breakfast operations, where guests were left confused and staff appeared idle. The ongoing issue of birds entering indoor dining areas further detracts from the experience. While food quality is generally good, prices are high compared to better local alternatives. Water pricing is excessive, especially given prior communication suggesting it would be complimentary. In a hot climate, the lack of accessible free water feels particularly unreasonable. Overall, while the property is visually impressive, service shortcomings significantly undermine the experience. With stronger leadership and clearer standards, the hotel has potential, but currently falls short of expectations."

"The toilet seat in my room was completely broken - both parts - making it very uncomfortable to use. A plug socket to the left of my bed was not screwed in making it very dangerous to use. Although I arrived at the property at 6.30pm there was nobody on reception that could speak English For some reason the web-form I had to complete for registration didn't work, even though I was instructed to try it 4 times. This had to be completed manually in the morning!"

"A lot of style but not a lot of substance. A hotel of this calibre is missing a lot of standard things. Usually there’d be in room bathroom amenities, but there was none. I requested the shower gel to be filled up on 4 separate occasions but was never done. The kettle didn’t work even again after I reported in multiple occasions. One day they didn’t replace the towels and I had to report twice before we got them. Ordered some ice and a corkscrew on room service the first night, never arrived. The bedsheets were bobbly and rough. Beautifully designed and the breakfast was nice, but there’s a lot to be desired. Beautiful pool area, lovely bar seating, great location. Just needs some of the basics to be worked up to make it a great stay. "

"Bathroom was really small which was a problem due to my height. Floor was sandy too. Parking was 10DH per day. Other than that it was a great stay"

"Best place to stay in Taghazout! Beautiful rooms, perfect location right by the beach and shops/ bars. Great buzz inside and the evenings. Very friendly staff who will help book taxis etc. Incredible rooftop breakfast with every food you could want and views to die for !"
