“Good location, nice garden”

“We only ended up staying for one night of the two we booked. This was due to work commitments not the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty. Before we left we had a meal in the restaurant. The food was some of the best we’ve had in a while. We would definitely stay there again.”

“The hotel is spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and give good advice of the area. It is a lovely walk into the town too. The food was exceptional everything of choice you could possibly wish for.”

“I very rarely post a bad review; I normally don't post a review at all if I haven't liked it. However, we booked The Croft based on the number of 5* reviews it had. On a positive, the location of this B&B is perfect - really close to the High Street. However, we've stayed in a lot of places, both higher and lower end, depending on our requirements, and I'm sorry to say that this is probably one of the worst places we've stayed at. “Lovely gardens and good quality breakfast, cooked to order using local ingredients.”

“Somewhat quiet. The owner was vwry nice and welcoming. Riim was adequate however it was small so luckiky we did not take up our suitcases. A small fridge was provided which was useful. What would have also been been useful was a jug or bottle of water. It was very hard to fill the kettle from the bathroom sink. We couldny understand why the bed was unusually warm and a bit sticky. Is the plastic under the mattress protector necessay? Nice stay.”

“It was homely. The couple were hospitable & took care of their guests & provided a nice breakfast included in price. Had a well cared for appearance.”
