“OK, so it's a real prison. And we were staying off-season, and by chance we were the only guests there that night... and the check-in was all automatic. So the whole thing was kind of surreal as we walked around the prison yard, reading the signs about historic prison life etc. You REALLY get the vibe of being in an old gaol, so don't stay there if you're going to get freaked out by things like that. “We were blown away by our stay in this wonderful property. It is small boutique hotel which has been immaculately restored by the owners. We had a suite consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. It was well equipped, warm and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the adjacent Commodore Hotel and the food was very good. This is one of the best places we have stayed in on our Australia trip.”

“This property was excellent and the bathroom was new and beautiful - we got a king bed room with a walk in shower plus a separate bathtub bathroom. Central driving to all tourist spots and parking right out the front of our room - Room 53.”

“This place is perfect for the business traveller. Although parking is a bit of a squeeze, the rooms are spacious, comfy bed, have a great desk to work at, (no freezer in the fridge, though...) and walking distance to everything useful - supermarkets, food, pubs, banks and so on. This is not a 5 star rated premises (probably 3-4 star rating) but it is 5 star for the price. This will be my first choice in future when in Mount Gambier.”

“Friendly staff but the room was too small and a bit different from the picture.”

“밤새도록 차가 도로를 달리는 소리가 들렸음.”

“We only stayed for 1 night on the way to Adelaide but the hotel was excellent. Our room was huge, the food in the hotel was of a high standard and the staff couldn't have done enough to help us.”
