“This was the first time I stayed at the Menger . It was very comfortable and right in the heart of the Alamo Plaza. The Alamo was a short walk across the street, shopping and fine dining all within a few minutes walk. The valet parking is a little expensive for me, but very convenient. They have a nice restaurant and bar downstairs, room service for the early morning breakfast in bed, and the first floor is like a little time capsule of this historic hotel. “Perfect location and room condition. However the bed size was a little bit small to share. I booked for 3 adults and they said 2 twin beds, but the twin bed was too small for 2 adults.”
