“The hotel is stunning and the grounds around it are incrdible. The promenade walk was out of this world. Very friendly staff and helpful. The pool is very clean. We had our cuckapoo with us and they were very loving towards him. Dogs are not allowed in the dinning room which wasnt an issue at all as we were allowed to stay on the bar side/dinning room. “Had a fantastic stay in the Edelweisse suite for part of our honeymoon tour of the lakes. Room was spotless and awesome. Fantastic facilities in the room, difficult to choose between hot tub or spa bath, so alternated between the two. Batj may have edged it due to TV! Comfortable bed and sofa. Breakfast was ordered the evening before and brought to our room, and was delicious!”

“What a wonderful hotel. Greated by the owner when we arrived, explained everything about the hotel, offered to help us with the local area if we didn’t know how to get around. The breakfast choice was immense and everything we had was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Rich and Ada were both very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay here again. Location is perfect, the same distance from Bowness and Windermere and both being walkable ”
