"Lovely room with views over the golf course. Food very good. Comfort score reduced because we were evacuated twice in one night and spent an hour standing in the car park following a fire alarm. Staff seemed to have no clue what to do in an emergency "

"Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too."

"Close and convenient to the motorway, we used it as a stop off on a long journey south. The staff are great and they do a nice little kids packs and free hot chocolate. The hotel is quite dated but clean. Could definitely do with a big refurb. Pool nice and warm, clean but again just dated. The only issue we had was the bed. Never have a stayed on such a noisy, uncomfortable bed. It was like a camp bed. "
