โMidweek trip to Buxton and surrounding area. Host, Louise was extremely helpful before during and after our stay.
The rooms are modern, well equipped and very comfortable for short stays.
The property is very well located for public transport and just a short walk to Buxton attractions
We would highly recommend โ
โGreat property, lovely staff and facilities. As the property is on a steep hill the parking was challenging especially when other guests parked inconsiderately.โ
โStayed 2 nights in Feb. Very comfortable bed and well presented room. The Inn itself was quiet and so lacked a little atmosphere but then it was mid-week. The food was excellent, I especially liked the salmon and the mushroom risotto was splendid. We would have eaten there again on the second night but the vegetarian options were limited. I'm sure the chef would have come up with something suitable but we wanted to explore other eating options locally anyway.
Breakfast was plentiful and the bar...
โVery enjoyable stay at The Cheshire Cheese Inn, staff were very helpful and friendly. We had the evening meal and the food quality was excellent and the service great. Nothing was too much trouble and the team chatted to us throughout the evening. Breakfast the following morning was top notch (my particular favourites being the sausage and bacon). I would wholeheartedly recommend a stay in this wonderful establishment if youโre ever in the area,โ
โExcellent service, wonderful breakfast, comfortable room and added bonus of a free packed lunch - highly recommended for a lovely stay in the Peak District.โ
โWe had a lovely two night stay at Losehill. Ideally situated if you want to walk up Losehill or Mam Tor and Edale is a 20 minute bus ride away. The bus can be caught from the bottom of the lane. The service from every member of staff we encountered during our stay was outstanding. The food was excellent with amazing views as you eat.โ
