The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park Tours

Nice, long hike today. Went down the Bridge Creek Trail, and then to Maple Falls. About an 8-mile total hike. Redwoods everywhere you look, and a deep dark forest that gave lots of 'mood'. We came across a tiny snake! It was just a few inches long, red back, sunning itself on a rock in the middle of the creek.

Great place for a weekend hike or bike ride. The view from the river is amazing. Farther away there is a trail that gets you to 5 waterfalls.
