"Staff are friendly and helpful. Security very good as it is not accessible from the ground level and there is a security guard sitting at the access point to the MTR footbridge to prescreen people heading to the building. Morning complimentary coffee with fruit and bun/biscuits is good for enjoyment back to the room. The lawn at 12th floor is million dollar feature in Hong Kong. Since building is about 20 years old, a lot of finishes need overhaul renovation. Central air conditioning is good and quiet as comparing with some other hotels. Water flow is excellent in the wash basin and good at shower. It feels like home when staying in Y Loft. Not expensive but fit for the purpose."

"I stay three nights in this hotel which is located very close to all types of public transportation (MTR, airport bus and trams). It is also close to many restaurants and food outlets. The room is reasonable in size and very quiet. The staff are quite friendly and helpful. The entrance to the hotel is very small and not easy to find especially during the nighttime."

"We have a family of 4 and this is one of the few hotels in Hong Kong that offers a room type that accommodates 4 persons. Price is very reasonable and room is clean. Furniture is a little dated though. Another thing you need to deal with is the food vendors (cooked or raw) that’s in the same street. It’s a common thing in Hong Kong but some may not be used to it. Overall, probably the most reasonable price one can find at north point. We will consider this hotel again."
