โThis place was awesome. It was uniquely located on the university campus, which was beautiful. It provided great amenities, and I liked the convenience of the bar/restaurant. It was also SO close to public transit- it was maybe a 5 minute walk to the metro station. The room was comfortable, modern, and super clean. Staff was lovely. โ
โWe always stay at the Cheshire on our cross-country road trips. It's perfect for families and it's pet friendly. We like that it's clean, has character ( the rooms are named after different authors), and has good food options. The breakfast is healthy with fresh fruit options. But most of all, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I left clothing behind on one of our trips recently and they went out of their way to look for it and mail it to me! A special thank you to Roxie!โ
โWhen we pulled in the sign said โHotel Indigoโ. This was disconcerting since I had made reservations at a Holiday Inn Express. I also stayed at the same property in April when it was a Holiday Inn Express. Itโs still an IHG property..
We appreciate the history of this hotel and itโs nice that the renovations celebrate this.. itโs on the National Register of Historic Places as the first motel on Route 66 in St Louis. โ
โDan was an amazing host. Would stay there again next time in St. Louis. Beautiful vintage home with all the modern features. Rosie was a great addition to the host. Great breakfast on top of the warm atmosphere. โ
โLoved place of hotel and ease of shopping area. Great room as well. Only thing I had an issue with was room wouldn't get cooler that 74ยฐ. I am used to sleeping 68-69ยฐโ
