"Avoid this place! > We had a confirmed reservation, but when we arrived to check in, it turned out our room had been given to someone else. The host was completely unreachable and ignored all our calls and messages. We were left stranded without a place to sleep. Very unprofessional and unreliable."

"Horrible room, dirt and grime everywhere. Sticky floor. Bed clearly just remade after previous guests or squatters, black hairs and pubes. Bed cushion had ominous stains! Slept fully clothed! No WiFi code despite being the selling point and even requesting it. Was told to let them know if arriving after 9pm or they couldn’t help with anything, which I did, but no response to wifi question! Weird selection of a couple of old forks, bowls, mug and the kettle didn’t work and smelled like someone...

"I got to the facility and it was being lived in. The guy on tne intercom said he had been living there for 11 weeks So contacted the feeder company and they were not available Was on foot so tried desperately to get a taxi to no avail. "Situated in the heart of Cowes right on the High Street. We stayed here one night to attend a family party. It was perfect for 1 night, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The Anchor is a lively, popular pub serving local beers and weekly live music. The room had some ear plugs provided but we didn't need them, a nice thought though."

"Nicely presented, central location, generally clean, though not sure about the towels. Not too noisy given location. However, our stay was during the hottest days on record in May and the apartment was hot and there was no air conditioning or fans to regulate the temperature."

"Truly tremendous venue by the Beaulieu River, surrounded by many interesting historic places to visit and the wonders of the New Forest. Excellent accommodation, lovely meals, good bar and plenty of caring for our dog too."
