The village of Thornham extends to both sides of the A149; offering vast sandy beaches with easy access, and beautiful scenery, Thornham is one of the villages along this stretch of coast that enjoys a good number of holidaying visitors during the summer months. During the 18th and 19th centuries the village had a much larger harbour and was popular with smugglers who would sink their contraband off the coast, deposited in waterproof containers, when the tide was out, for locals to recover the goods later.

"Really comfortable stay, kids of little details were thought about in the room, including eye mask & ear plugs, nice toiletries and coffee machine /fresh milk in mini fridge. All you can eat breakfast was very pleasant surprise. Very handy for Sandringham, as we arrived late after the show, check-in was still possible via the bar. "

"Check-in nice and easy. Bed and pillows super comfy. It was like lying on a cloud and being swallowed up! Great selection for food. We had lunch and went with the fish n' chips. Light batter and non greasy and tasted delicious! Great portions! Also had breakfast and again good selection. Service was excellent! Lovely location off the green and a 2min walk to the sea front with lovely shops in between! Stayed here before and would recommended to anyone to stay here!"
