"The best part of this hotel is the staff. Very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed sitting in the front seating area that had tables, refreshments, and manga to read. It was a nice place to sit and have dinner when the rain kept us from walking around one evening. The hotel had plenty of common areas for you to enjoy in case you wanted to get away from your room. Location was great, a short walk up the hill to Kiyomizu-Dera, a kimono shop around the corner, and a dumpling restaurant right next door."
