저렴한 가격을 원한다면...
집으로 돌아오는 길 잠시 잠만 자고 새벽일찍 출발해야하는 계획이라서 특별히 신경쓰지 않고 저렴한 모텔을 선택함. 생각한것처럼 좋지는 않지만 가격대비 하루 묵고 가기엔 나쁘지 않았다.

It is an old place need some upgrates and it is not the cleanest place . It looks like the old man work there by his own and has hard time to keep up.

I was impressed with the staff...Friendly and helpful..... and my room... very clean and comfortable... I will stay there again on my return trips to Thunder Bay and have no problem referring them

Very quaint and old fashioned place. We like it there because of that, its a room when you need a room. Friendly desk staff and close to lots of businesses.

I was not able to stay at this Motel as the city had closed off their parking lot. The Manager arranged for me to stay in The Modern Motel just down the street.

Friendly Staff, Questionable Location
I booked online but a storm that took down internet prevented the hotel staff from seeing my booking in a timely fashion. As a result, they were booked and placed me in another hotel a couple blocks away/same owner, the Modern Motel. Angie and her husband were great about making this change, give me directions, and allow me to come back to the original hotel the next morning to do laundry. Thank you so much!! Both hotels were on a busy highway with lots of noise, and a fair number of pedestrians for the time of evening. Arriving after dark and seeing the condition of the area, I was concerned for my safety. The room was clean and comfortable with good amenities. However, the exterior lighting and door/window security were lacking at the hotel, again leading to safely concerns. I would recommend some upgrades to those areas, as well as well-lit signs to make it easier to locate the hotels.

Great value. Friendly owners.
The owners were friendly and made me feel welcomed. Very down to earth couple. The accommodations were good - comfy bed, had the suite with mini kitchen and it was Perfect! All the basics were met and Wifi provided to boot. Value packed for the price. Location is a little off the beaten path, if sticking to highway travel, but worth the detour.

It was an old funky place. It is in need of an update, but the beds were comfortable and the tv worked. It was just fine for a one night stay.

The hotel owners were quite nice, too bad the room wasn’t. They had no warm water to shower in, and the room itself looked really run down and old. The beds were comfortable enough.

Very nice staff. Old country motel was full so they sent me down the road to the ironically named modern motel. Bed was very comfortable and price was right, but very old and run down exterior. Next door to a DQ which hit the spot.

Nice place, right on the highway. Clean room and really good continental breakfast. My only gripe was my phone had lousy reception and I couldnt connect wifi(but thats rogers for ya).

It was so clean and smelled fresh!! The managers were amazing too. Super helpful and ensured that I was comfortable. The shower was pretty new and I loved that. It was a really great stay, and I’d definitely stay here again. It looks like older motel from outside but it’s very comfortable and your whole perspective changes after talking to the managers and entering your room.

We arrived late night, they were not happy at all, the reservation was not found in the system, showed them the confirmation on the phone and finally they give us a room. The room was outdated, with a strong smell, not clean. We did not complain or try to change the room since it was already late. Left early morning.

You get what you pay for, older facility.
Had young guest staying next room and at 4:00 am was intoxicated and knocking on my door. Just prior he and his male friends with female friends were outside the room talking loudly keeping me awake. Decided to pull out after I was rudely woken up by the intoxicated male guest. Wasted my paid room by leaving at 4:30 am.

Too bad nice location
No wifi as promised went to the office 3 times still no wifi , coffee extension cord was broken, hair in my bed. Floor not very clean, would not go back. Only good thing was the price.

Excellent location
Finding the hotel is easy as it is along the main road. Very convenient location as it is near a gas station, fastfood and restaurant. The staff/owner are very nice and welcoming. The room itself is roomy and clean, right for the price. We stayed for two nights and found no issues. Will definitely recommend to friends!

Older Hotel, exceptional staff room was spotless,
I was impressed, very friendly and helpful staff, so clean, super deep tub, small rooms, but very comfortable and did I say CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. This will be my stop over in Thunderbay. Don't miss photo op of the sleeping giant.

Old country motel
The room was dirty , holes in the door and wall.bathroom door didn't lock.wfi didn't work. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Discussing place don't recommended to anyone.
