Great Stay in Tiberias

The best hotel shower I have ever had. Great views from our balcony room. Wonderful buffet breakfast. Great location. Highly recommend this hotel.

A nice place to land.

Touring in Israel we were looking for a hotel in Tiberias, always hard to find a nice one there. This hotel is nice old style which fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the place. Staff is kind and delivering great service, breakfast is great.

This is an older hotel but beautifully taken care of. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was included, amazing and delicious. If I go back I will book another room here for sure.

Chic, romantic, luxurious hotel. Great location. The breakfast is to die for. The staff is beyond friendly. There is a swimming pool and a spa. Rooms: Spacious rooms thoughtfully decorated. Like the rest of the hotel, it mixes old and new with a lot of character and charm. Food & drinks: The breakfast is unbelievable. Huge variety. Sweet and savory options. Local food such as shakshuka, knafe and burekas. And everything is finger-licking good. Hotel highlights: Luxury, Romantic, and Great value

The pool was locked at 6:00 p.m. when it's 100°F outside a lot of people would go swimming in the evening. it was not centrally located near the water it was about a 10-minute walk to the center of town downhill but returning it's uphill

Europa stay

Receptionist was grumpy and never smiled at check in. Ground level rooms had very noisy streets starting aT 5 am. No slippers or robes in room although advertised on web site. Room was dusty, bathroom not very clean. No place in hotel toget a glass of wine at night. Management did offer us another room but we declined to pack again and move. They did send a small bottle of wine to make amends overall I would not stay again.

This delightful property was conveniently located within easy walking distance of the boardwalk/promenade in Tiberias, making food and shopping easy. The elevators arrive with a 'ding' like a doorbell, which is annoying throughout the night. The staff was gracious and helpful and the front desk is staffed 24/7. We were disappointed in the pool - it was lovely and we were looking forward to using it. However, when asked what the hours were, we were told that it was not open because it was too cold (it was 91 degrees the following day). We were surprised when two days later children were in the pool. We had a beautiful room with a gorgeous balcony. The thermostat worked well and the breakfast was generous. Our final night, however, the room was completely filled with cigarette smoke (we were trying to breath through the bed covers it was so intense). When we reported this, we were told, "This is Israel." So - just a heads up - if one is sensitive to smoke, be aware that you may be overwhelmed. Parking is across the street from the hotel. It is easy to find a space in the evening, but can be difficult during the day. Had we not reached out directly to the hotel in advance to ask where to park, we would have been confused since it is not on the property proper. We were traveling around the country and, based on lack of parking at other hotels, we were very thankful for this convenience. We highly recommend this hotel, with the caveat about the smoking.

The area is okay but a little far from the lake. The man at check-in was extremely rude, there were numerous ants in our room/bathroom, and the pillows are so hard and thick your almost better not using one at all. Way better options out there!

Outdated and bad service

I came for the marathon. Asked to prolong my checkout by 1 hour. They were specificaly instructed to not allow it. Room was outdated and shower didn't work properly. Will not come back there.

The hotel is very beautiful, vintage style. Clean and lovely staff. Very good breakfast. The hotel is located in the city close to the promenade with a beautiful view. Located near the road but for us it did not bother so much.

The hotel was lovely and clean and pretty. The pool was awful and the spa was not available. It wasn’t a spa ; it was a service that comes certain hours to provide services which were not available for us as woman was booked. Since we came for spa and pool we were disappointed front desk was great breakfast was great !

I booked the “executive” suite and got a small room with a balcony. Front desk guy told me the picture online was of the panoramic suite! That’s misleading! Shower head did not work,water wasn’t draining,tv remote only worked in specific angles,digital door lock didn’t work also (had to use an actual key instead of the card)
