You would expect Hampton Inn's to be held to a standard. Upon arrival the staff was very nice and parking was convenient but the hotel and room was not in good shape. From the Hallway carpets being dirty, trash stacked around the trash can by the ice machine and towels around the perimeter of the ice machine due to a leak...this didn't appear to be a resent occurance. The room had an odd smell(maybe Pet friendly room) as did the bedding. The shower/bathtub had permanent stains and the shower curtain where it attached to the bar with the built in rings was torn in several places, Overall it just had a feeling of a much lower end hotel, like a Motel 6 or a Red Roof Inn. It's a shame because the grtounds were decent and the room design was nice.

The property is close to interstate but there isnt any traffic sounds. Pool was closed but staff is respectful and efficient.

Clean. Very nice check-in manager. Beds were clean and comfy. Overall condition of hotel was very good. Restaurants were close. Quiet.

Cleaning lady stole my pocket knife that I used to cut fruit. She left more of mess than actually cleaning the room. Did not clean the countertops or sink. Website did not say pool was closed. That was the main reason I booked the hotel for the pool. Told them I just wanted to use the lounger not to swim water was too cold anyways. Still would not let me use a chair or lounger.

We stopped here halfway during our roadtrip. I loved the hotel it was clean and comfortable. They have board games and kids coloring books available to borrow at the front desk. Hot breakfast and comfortable beds. I'm so glad that we picked this spot. I would definitely stay here again

The staff we're very nice and hospitable. I usually stay at Hilton properties because I have expectations of property. My particular room was in dire need of renovation. The bed had indentations and you could see where people had slept. These sheets were no longer soft. And desperate need of renovation. I also noticed roaches and which I informed the front staff which they said they would take care of immediately.

We were not told in advance that there would be a damage deposit collected on checkin. Since it was assessed against my debit card, it will now be several says before I have access to it when is returned. Otherwise we were very pleased with the property and personnel

Was very disappointed with the showers as they were barely lukewarm and no pressure at all. Rather noisy room you could hear the people in the next unit and I’m not sure what the eggs on top of the piece of bread was for breakfast, but certainly not normal scrambled eggs And no meat little bit of an unusual breakfast overall, this was not a age rating other than the beds and cleanliness were fine. I would give us a 6.8 rating at max.

The toilet stopped up. No one gave us coffee, towels, wash cloths, or even cleaned our room, stocked it, or made the beds. We had to empty our own garbage. For the high price, it should have been a lot better.

Could do better
The condition of the room was very nice, and the breakfast was decent. However, the water pressure in the bathroom was almost nonexistent and just barely lukewarm. I was surprised to find the situation because I know that the room had just been cleaned shortly before it was assigned to me. I figured that the staff that cleaned the bathroom definitely would have noted that.

Nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in
Upon checking in, we went to our room and walked in to multiple roaches. After having to play exterminator for the first 30 minutes, we started to settle in. There was absolutely no way the floor had been vacuumed because there was fur everywhere and a pill right in the middle of the floor. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned. And the sheets had fur on them as well. Being there was a car show in the next town over, there was absolutely no where else to check in to. I had to subject myself and my kids to this filth but I will definitely be getting in touch with someone to let them know there is no way it is healthy for other people to stay there.

Although an older Hampton, it did not need boxes all over the lobby. It was a mess. The elevator was dirty. Our sheets had stains, another guest was accidentally given the key to our room and attempted to enter. I was undressed. The biscuits at breakfast fell apart when handled. It was not a feel good stay. However the staff was excellent

We arrived after driving for 17 hours. We checked in and found our room not cleaned. Bed was unmade, dirty towels on the bathroom floor, garbage in the cans. I guess cleaning the room for a new customer is not a given. We were told this was the last room available so we had to leave and find a new place down the road. This was an awful experience.

The place was clean but when I opened the cabinet under the tv the door fell off in my hand. The coffee pot in my room was broken as well as the ice machine on my floor so I had to keep going up and down to fill my cooler. Annoying.

Ehh. At first glance it was okay. Hallway smelled musty. Room was better however I bought a candle to burn because it smelled off. Saw a total of 4 small roaches in the morning. Packed and left. Will not return. Paid almost $200 for the night. MOST DEFINITELY not a $200 night.

A good place to stay between here and there. Right off the interstate with decent food options close by (mostly fast food). Safe and clean place to stop while traveling.
