The best part is this property is located near the airport. Otherwise, it is a dump - water leaking floor in the room (surprised they knew about it and still assigned to me), bad food/menu choices - particularly for vegetarians. Why would a restaurant in the middle of south India doesn't offer south Indian cuisine but offers north Indian and Chinese food items, still they are all badly cooked.

Nearness to the airport is a key strength of the property. However, most rooms and toilets are fairly dated. So needs to be upgraded to be competing with its peers. The staff are very receptive and deal with requests at short notice.

Locally owned and maintained with no experience in hospitality. Shows up everywhere in the property from dirty linen to dirty towels. Stinky curtains , stains in the toilets. Worst experience.

Quiet environment, spacious rooms, multiple dining options, prompt service. Food was tasty. Free breakfast option which was buffet style. Friendly staff. Better than most other hotels in the area and value for money. Shower did not well as faucet was loose. Tv also did not work due to cable box non functional. Remote location is good but no shops around.

Breakfast is good. No air condition outside room in common areas. Mosquitoes need to be eliminated in common areas inside hotel.Staff take long time to respond for requests. Some times require to remind few times. Travel service provided by hotel is very expensive compare to outside rates.

Bad service when the manager is not at the work. Condition of rooms and bathroom not well! Whole atmosphere is strange. Mosquito free life! Not recommended!

Mediocre service overall and especially in the restaurant southern spice; indifferent staff made it discouraging to even complain!. Food way below standards of speciality restaurant. Rooms were musty smelling and daily cleaning wasn't up to the mark. Cannot believe this is a star hotel! PS: intriguingly, did not find a single smiling staff or anyone who was eager to attend to customer. Will never stay here again although the location is very convenient (proximity to airport).

One night at SRM
The stay at SRM was comfortable given that I was traveling on my own and there for just one night. The hotel can be so much more than what it is given that the staff and very polite, friendly and supportive. The check in was a breeze thanks to the front desk and the rooms were comfortable. The hotel could be better maintained. The breakfast was also good and the staff in the coffee shop were kind enough to help me despite the fact that I was late for breakfast. The highlight was the fitness club run by Mr. Santosh. He is an excellent instructor and very generous in his advice and counsel. So, irrespective of your health status, please make sure to use the gym at SRM and avail of Mr. Santosh’s guidance. Will return to SRM the next time I am in Trichy.

Location of the property is good. Resturant ambience, cleanliness and taste is very good. Service is really slow. Negative side of the property is poor facilities. Reception service is average. Room and cleanliness is pathetic. Bathroom is very congested and unclean. Overall okay property not family friendly.

It is certainly an outdated property. They had used some sort of a room freshener it was mixed with damp and a weird smell.. staying there was a struggle.
