"We had to have housecleaning to clean a few things before we brought our luggage in. When my husband put on an overhead fan in the bedroom, all kinds of clumps of dust came down from the fan onto the bed and bureau. There was also about a 1/4' of dust on the fan vent in the living room and a clump of chocolate cake on the outside of the refrigerator! Otherwise, the place was clean."

"The stay was very good however the rooms are dated though well maintained. I felt the price was very high for the accommodations. I had expected more for the price ($350) but it was their peak season and they need to price accordingly. Certainly this Inn did not offer the feel or quality level of even a Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn. That being said it was very clean, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good."

"Clean, convenient, remotely operated by the owner, the Red Lion, a short distance away. We could use all the amenities offered by the Red Lion (meals, pool, hot tub) while staying at the much more reasonable Little Lion. A great bargain for Stockbridge!"

"Good location friendly staff checked in right after the storm knocked the power out to the local area. Staff got us situated. Breakfast was good. Note:There is a Wendy’s next door but they don’t open for breakfast. The gas station across from them has a good price on gas use the south parking lot exit for the Mass Pike or north on 202"
