"If i could give a rating of zero I would. Horrible hotel. The room door deadbolt would repeatedly get stuck so i couldn't leave the room until it would get unstuck..I wasn't even using the deadbolt! I asked the staff repeat to fix it during my 4 nights there. Toilet paper and tissue were almost gone bar check in..I ran out of toilet paper and tissue during the last night. The hotel is under complete renovation everywhere, was not notified at booking. Total inconvenience. Breakfast was laughable. Elevator call button barely worked. Walls were so thin and connecting door to another room (that had other people in it) let in every possible sounds of talking etc.. bathroom shower was dirty. Floors were dusty. The absolutely only redeeming thing was the bed. Never booking this absolute trash hotel chain again."

"I stayed over the weekend for an event in the hotel next door. The breakfast was really good the staff was so sweet the rooms were clean and spacious. I also love the fact that they had a kitchen in the room with a refrigerator dishwasher pots pans dishes. I would definitely stay here again."

"I traveled to Vernon for a wedding and opted to pay a little extra money for Mountain Creek rather than staying at the cheaper option that was given through the wedding accommodations. I was really looking forward to a nice sleep, sipping coffee and relaxing the morning after the day. Upon getting to Mountain Creek, the code that was texted to me for entrance to my room was wrong. When I went to the shop (there is no check in desk), I was rudely told that I could have just texted the number back rather than coming down (nowhere in the text did it say to text back for questions). It was very apparent that the staff did not want to interact during check in. They gave me my correct code and five minutes after getting into the room, a maintenance man walked into the room unannounced. In the morning, I woke up and attempted to make coffee. After 3 attempts, it was apparent that the coffee maker was broken. I turned on the TV to sit on the couch and relax and the screen stated antenna error. I texted the number for guest services and the response was "I will tell IT about the TV". There was no apologies or offer of coffee to make up for the broken coffee maker. I am very disappointed in my stay. In reading the print, they charge additional fees for early check in, late check out, and if there's even a hint of pets on the premises, you will be fined. This business seems very money-hungry without provided anything substantial to warrant the higher cost of a resort accommodation. "

"Sonesta Simply Suites is a nice, basic hotel right off the highway. The rooms were neat and clean and everything was very functional. Nothing is fancy or over-the-top, it's a clean, complete room. The fridge was a bit noisy at night so have your white noise ready. They could also do with an upgraded shower head, but everything else was great. I didn't use any of the kitchenette features but it did look comprehensive with the ability to borrow simple kitchen counter appliances."
