Ok for a one night stay
Great position in the centre of Tomar main thoroughfare. Old building with traditional furnishings. Tired but clean. Bed felt hard but was actually comfortable. Rust came from hot tap.

This is a very unique hotel on the pedestrian strolling street in Tomar. The furishings were charmingly antique, the owners could not have been more welcoming and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay.

Nice stay
The room was large and wonderfully clean. The only drawback was the hardness if the beds. The staff were friendly and the location is perfect for sightseeing on foot.

Charming and old fashioned but potentially noisy.
Cute old fashioned room near the center of town. Staff was friendly and a nice breakfast buffet was available. The one problem is the lack of sound-proofing. There was a noisy family in the room next to me. Luckily they went to bed fairly early. I am always surprised when there are lots of empty rooms and they don't spread the guests out a bit.

Quirky. Very clean, comfortable, right in the middle of town. No car parking nearby, as it is on a pedestrianised street, but free on street parking less than 8 mins. away. Family-run,great value accom, with breakfast included in price. Would stay again.

キリスト教修道院に近く立地が良かった。エレベーターはなかったけれどスタッフの方が非常に親切で荷物を運ぶのを手伝ってくれました。こじんまりとした部屋でアジア人にとっては十分なサイズでした。古い街で建物も古いので少しバスルームのドアの立て付けが悪かったですがリーズナブルな宿なので特に気にならなかった。シャワーのお湯を出してすぐはパイプの鉄が混じっていてしばらく出してから使いました。朝食は朝8時だか8時半だったので、近所のカフェで取りました。移動の際、タクシーを手配して頂き価格も明確にしてくれたので助かりました。笑顔の素敵なマダムが対応してくれて安心しました。

Average hotel at a convenient location for train
Considering that it's a 2-star rated hotel the key advantage to stay here is if you need a cheap hotel near Porto Campinhas train station and you're planning to take the train the following day. The rooms are old but ok with just what you need for a quick stay.

Sehr altes, ehrwürdiges Haus mitten in der Altstadt mit toller Ausstrahlung. Unser Zimmer lag leider zur Fußgängerzone mit Ihren Cafés und Bars hin und war deshalb recht laut.

Nice hotel in the heart of Tomar
The nice man checked us in at midnight after a horrible train delay. There is no elevator and we were on the second level up. No A/C but we slept with the window open and it was fine. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was fine. If you are on a budget and don't mind the stairs then this is a nice hotel. We stayed 3 nights.

Echt Portugees met een twist
Een prachtig origineel Portugees hotel in de winkelstraat en daarmee autovrij. Een ontbijtzaal waar je geniet van heerlijke muziek op de achtergrond, een eenvoudig, maar voldoende ontbijt met Portugese verse ingredienten erbij. Héél vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. De kamers zijn met respect voor de bouw veranderd in originele kamers waar alle comfort aanwezig is. Voor iedereen die Portugal wil beleven een aangename aanrader.

O Residencial União é um hotel centenário. Sua inauguração data de 1895, e arquitetura é impressionante, localizado no centro histórico de Tomar. É um hotel tipicamente familiar, sob o olhar atento do proprietário. O quarto triplo que ficamos é muito espaçoso, casa de banho privativa, limpíssimo, organizado e com ar condicionado. Perfeita localização. Ótima referência de hospedagem.

Hôtel bien situé
Hôtel situé dans le vieux Tomar. Tout se fait à pied. Restaurants et cafés pour tous les goûts à proximité. Le personnel de l’hôtel est accueillant et souriant. Petit déjeuner correcte sans plus. Je recommande cet hôtel.

En general todo estuvo bien, la ubicación, la atención del propietario, la habitación, wifi, y el desayuno muy completo. Objeciones: escalera un poco incómoda para subir a la planta superior y el agua de la ducha que salió helada (parece que fue un hecho puntual)

Very good value for money
Incorrect directions from Google maps. Hotel fronts a pedestrian only street. Very good location for exploring Tomar. Lots of good restaurants close by.

Vantagens: - Valor bem acessível; - Localização bem no meio do centro histórico, excelente; - Café da manhã bom, pelo custo; - Banheiro simples mas grande e tudo funcionando bem; - Atendimento. Neutro: - Acesso por escadas e se estiver com mala pesada pode ser um incômodo (no caso, foi um) Desvantagens: - Os pisos são de madeira e são velhos, então se você ficar no primeiro andar, vai escutar tudo o que se passa no segundo e as pessoas que passam pelo corredor; - Cama de casal pequena e um pouco desconfortável. - Não tem estacionamento, mas tem um pago bem perto. O pernoite custa 3 euros (tem de avisar o estacionamento se não pagará por hora).

Recommended for stay in central Tomar.
Spent one night in this very clean and comfortable pension in central location on a pedestrian street in Tomar. Great location for visiting the sites and walking the beautiful town. Bedroom was bright and airy and bed comfortable. Self serve bar was available for guests and Jorge the proprietor made us feel very welcome. Great breakfast provided, though other restaurants / cafes located nearby. I would have no hesitation in recommending the guest house as a base to explore all that this town has to offer.

とても人懐っこい御主人が迎えてくれて、アトホームな感じのいい宿でした。急に洗濯を頼んでも、喜んでやってくれて（有料だが高くない値段で）、朝出してその日に綺麗に畳まれて返ってきました。トイレ・シャワーが狭いのが欠点ですが、慣れれば、とても快適だと思います。

Charming, clean and comfortable
Charming, clean and comfortable place to stay in the center of this Templar knight town! They have a self serve/self pay bar, quick laundry service and they are right along the Portuguese Camino. Plenty of local restaurants & shops & history. I'd stay again!

Pre-stay communication ruined experience.
Things started off poorly even before my stay. Received a message the day before my stay telling me that if I agreed they would switch me hotels because of noisy guests. I wrote back saying I did not wish to switch locations. They then responded that if I didn't want to switch locations then I could cancel my reservation. I wrote back saying I would only agree to the switch because I was being forced and my review would reflect that. They then backtracked and said they weren't forcing me to move and that I could stay at my original booking location but they wouldn't be responsible for the noise level. I showed up at the original location and they tried to move me again. I refused and they put me in a room at the back. Noise level was perfectly fine. No problems. The whole pre-stay messaging really stressed me out and made me very upset. On to the stay. Great location. Staff on location were friendly. Bed was comfortable. Didn't shower because the water that came out was discoloured and had lots of dark flecks. Ran the water for a bit but didn't help much. Would have like to have wifi in my room.

Hôtel très authentique!
Hôtel charmant de plus de 120 ans qui offre un confort sommaire avec un service très agréable. La chambre, rustique et peu décorée, nous a fait penser à une chambre de couvent. On aime ou on aime pas pas, nous on a trouvé ça plutôt authentique. Le personnel a été charmant et très aidant. Le prix pour le quartier est imbattable. La vue dans la salle du petit déjeuner est superbe.

First trip to Tomar Portugal
If your looking for a 5 star hotel with pools and hot tubs look some place else. But if you want to stay at a comfortable home that welcomes you with open arms, then this is the place for you. I was so happy with my stay I book a room for my next trip to Tomar.
