This is not a hotel.
While it was a thrill to stay in the Marilyn Monroe towers, this is very misleading and is not a hotel. I got an extra $20 charge when I was checking in, which I was told was a $5/day service fee. Received the key, went to the "hotel". LOTS of trouble trying to get in the building & called the help number. He talked me into staying; waited for about 10 minutes for him to drive there to walk me through getting into my room. I mentioned the $20, lack of hair dryer & information-no response except the reasons I was giving him for wanting my money back were not valid & I would love the room. Finally got to my room, which was a nice 2-bed, 2-bath with a balcony. No hair dryer. No dresser. Towels were iffy-2 in each bathroom, but 1 in the MB was hanging on the back of the door. Used/Not used? The other towel was folded & on the bed. No wash cloths, hand towels, shampoos or soaps. The bed had 1 flat sheet, no mattress pad, a blanket & two pillows. No top sheet to separate me from the blanket that I doubt is washed between visitors. 1 chipped coffee cup in the kitchen. I don't remember seeing a coffee pot. Lots of pans, plates, flat wear, bowls, but most were chipped & showing their age. No ice. There's a washer/dryer, but no soap, etc. They come to your room to check you out. The check-in guy showed up with some other guy & a maid. I don't think I would stay there again, but I'm happy I got to experience high-rise living for a few days.

Very comfortable; not much to do nearby
There isn't much to do around here but within 20minutes walk there is a shopping mall. It is relatively easy to get around on public transport and great to take a walk around the port and lake. The hotel was a little dirty and I felt the need to vacuum when I got there (I am no clean freak either) and I didn't want to use the microwave as that was dirty too. Checking out, the manager was late to arrive and had forgotten about the check out appointment until I called.

Nice place, good location
our staying was quite great at that facility. We enjoyed. we would stay again there if we need to in the future.

Great View but cleanliness Issues
The view from the 47th floor was fantastic. This was the first time we stayed at a managed apartment/condo and was not sure what to expect. Carpets were Dirty, Sheets were questionable, Just generally not cleaned adequately. Coffee maker but no pot. My wife was uncomfortable with the overall cleanliness

BUYER BEWARE - DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID
Mirage Suites, who manages Absolute Furnished Suites, is happy to rent you an apartment and take your money, but if there are any problems whatsoever, good luck in getting your money back. Once they have your money in their hands, consider it gone as they will claim they do not have to refund you because of their strict cancellation policy. In other words, once you sign on the dotted line, there is no going back. So no matter how bad things get, they have no intention of refunding your funds despite whatever they tell you. Your only hope is to pay Expedia directly at booking. DO NOT PAY MIRAGE directly. And don't get sucked into their recommendation to deal with them directly in the future. You are setting yourself up for failure. In brief, I booked a 3-day stay plus free parking at one of their apartments. I booked it through Expedia but chose to pay directly. My first big mistake! At check in, I was also told that there was an additional mandatory security fee (very high) that was required "in case I trashed the place". And don't lose the key because as it will cost you hundreds of dollars more to replace. I trustingly signed in. When I arrived at the building, the assigned free parking spot was taken by someone else. I called Mirage and they said there wasn't anything they could do about it as they only rent the apartment. They suggested I go see the building security and they would take care of it. (continued below)
