It was a pleasant and economical stay. The room was clean. The only thing I’d recommend is to bring plates, cutlery and something to drink from because the kitchens have empty cupboards.

The beds weren't that comfortable. But for a family with teenagers and young adults, it was a good sleeping solution!

Stayed here for 3 nights during VELD music festival and it was great! It was a little far but where VELD is located it’s hard to get something close. We stayed in a 2 bedroom dorm and it was nice to have your own privacy in your own room when needed. The first night the ac in our first room was terrible and it was a super hot weekend but they had no problems moving us to accommodate. I would definitely stay here again.

Spacious room for the price. Safe and quiet as it's in the campus. One minor problem is that parking was very far from the building. Even though the parking is supposed to be free as the parking ticket can be validated by the staff, it didn't work properly for a couple of times and I had to pay at the parking lot to get out, and the staff won't issue a refund as 'parking belong to a different department'.

It's a student residence, so you know what to expect. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Towels are provided, but you need to bring your own toiletries. No food on residence, but is available on the main campus about a 10 minute walk away. Parking is free in the adjacent parking garage, but requires validation at the front desk which doesn't always work, but you can talk to a human at the exit who will raise the gate.

(+) Great walking around -- Arboretum! Quiet and fairly clean but work in progress on the property (~) Good parking, but long walk and no turn back to the property entrance at exit (-) Basic amenities not working or not present, no hangers, no utensils nor basic kitchenware (fridge and microwave OK) We had to switch the room as the bathroom plumbing was not working, and new room had A/C going on 100% with no way to turn off -- a heater had to be supplied!

Check in was very easy. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. My room was clean, quiet, and cool. There is also a tv lounge, which was great to have as an option outside of my room. Free garage parking was also very easy.

Staff were all very polite. I learned when I checked out that I shouldn't have had to pay for parking the previous day, the person who checked me in didn't tell me that. All I needed to do was check in at the desk before heading out for the day and they would have given me a pass to get out of the parking lot. The room was clean and as expected. The campus area is wonderful, especially the arboretum. The entire campus is clean and well cared for.

It’s a college dorm room, no TV no shower, just a bed and a small pillow. I loved the price, just be prepared for the college dorm experience if you stay here. It’s nice and convenient to Toronto and surrounding areas. Staff are college kids who are super cool, helpful and nice.

Rated 5-stars because it's good value for money compared to the hotel chains in the area. It's very utilitarian/spartan but it ticked all our boxes: clean, safe, comfortable bed, hot shower, full-size fridge, microwave, free wifi, free parking (in an open garage about a block away). We had the 2-bedroom suite on the ground floor. We visited during the summer. I don't think there were any students staying in the residence and the cafeteria and snack bars were closed. There are NO amenities to speak of - NO TV, ice machine, coffee maker, hair dryer, house phone, clock radio, art work. The campus transit station is about a 2-block walk from the residence. From there it is a 15 minute bus ride to the western-most stop of the Toronto subway system, and from there you can easily get just about anywhere in the city. But to get anywhere around the Humber campus, you're probably going to want a car. The shops, stores and services are quite spread out - it's the suburbs. I got bad information from the guy who registered us at the front desk. I had to pay for overnight parking because the chit he gave me didn't work in the automated exit gate from the garage. I complained the next day and got a phone number to call. I wrote this longish review because I really liked the value-for-money they offer and I hope others with business in the area will take advantage.
