It’s was an alright place. The room was clean, staff were good to deal with. The breakfast was absolutely horrendous. Perhaps when people spend obscene amounts of money they should get something that is actually edible and not powdered eggs and half cooked sausage.

As a mom who likes to travel and always looking for a bargain, I’ve been very happy with the Marriott brand of properties. As our usual travel crew is with my hubby and our younger 2 boys (the oldest is grown up so sadly he doesn’t hang with us much anymore), Momma always looks for the most cost effective way. For our latest Toronto trip, I looked for a place that included parking and most importantly, breakfast! Of the several Marriott chain properties I’ve stayed at, they’ve always offered amazing breakfasts that is included in the room price. The breakfast staff ensured everything was clean, and all items were always well stocked. There was a make your own waffle station, hot foods area that changed its offerings daily. The choices included sausage patties & links, bacon, cheese omelettes, scrambled and hard boiled all made from free range eggs. Fresh juices, milk, teas and coffees were included, and all the beverages were always fresh and available. Even though we had a car rental, it is almost impossible to drive downtown without going insane so there were occasions where we took public transit. The hotel location was excellent, with access to the major highways, close to transit hubs and parking. turned out to be one of the nicest stays we’ve had.
