We had a nice stay at the Broken Spur Inn. The room is modest, but clean and you can tell they are trying to keep rooms updated. We used the hot tub, which was great after a long day of hiking. We also visited the Steakhouse for dinner. It was great having the amenities and restaurant on site, and overall I would recommend this location.

A hidden secret on Hwy 12. The warm country hospitality began at the visitors information center and continued at the Brokren Spur check-in desk. Our room was spacious, clean, western-themed and thoughtfully designed for guests. The restaurant was excellent including food and staff. Conistoga wagon rooms looked perfectly situated for the night. Breakfast was plentiful, offered variety and tasted great. More people should plan a stay here.

Beautiful views surrounded, and nicely surprised that the hot filling breakfast was included! The young lady at front desk was so cheerful without hesitation to change our room to a main floor unit with parking right outside the door to accommodate my sprained ankle, appreciated! The photos don’t do it justice. It has been kept up and renovated throughout the years and ambiance and quality of what you get is great! I also like how it’s close to the main highway, but sits up in a hill so you don’t hear as much below. Loved the pool and hot tub setup for our Littles.

Overall a very decent place to stay. Good amenities like a pool, spa, and restaurant on site along with free breakfast. I will say the rooms could have been cleaned slightly better. Toilet didn’t seem like it was cleaned. Plus we didn’t have any body soap or hand soap. Not a huge issue as we were able to get some soaps from front desk, but this is something that should always be included. Very nice staff.
