โLovely quiet hotel right in the middle of the Main Street in Gundiwindi. The Royal Hotel bar and bistro next door are accessible from 40 on Marshall , the service and meals were great. Highly recommend this hotel.โ
โThis motel is set in a great location, is quiet yet within a very short walk of all that town has to offer. And itโs a lovely town with a botanic garden. The owners keep the place beautifully and are very helpful. Well equipped rooms with a fridge and microwave if you want to warm up a meal or there are lots of restaurants and cafes to eat at nearby. Parking available right outside your room.โ
โThis motel is within easy walking distance to the shopping centre and convenient drive to local attractions. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well maintained - very welcoming after a long drive. The cold bottled water and little chocolates were an added bonus. Definitely worth a return visit on our next road trip.โ
โBreakfast was ordered for between 7:15am and 7:30am as we had a 5 hour drive in front of us.
At 7:45 I had to check with reception as to its whereabouts and was advised that it would be only a further 5 minutes.
Breakfast finally arrived at 7:55am - 40 minutes past our anticipated time which affected our on-going arrival plans at journey's end.โ
โBooked for an overnight stay on the gruelling drive from Melbourne to Brisbane - the town had three weddings on the same weekend, but they were extremely helpful and was able to find a spot for us! The food was also lovely at the bar downstairs :Dโ
