The rooms are tired and need a refresh, eg dripping taps need new washers; the doors on bathroom vanity need replacing; the door lock need a puff of graphite in the locks to make them work properly. Nice central location to the wetlands and shops. Best coffee at JK's Cafe - great cakes

Room was a good size and bed was comfortable but the bathroom was very small and the shower was tiny. I am 6’1” tall and 100kg (so not a small man) but I could only just fit in the shower.

WiFi is atrocious constant disconnection and difficult to maintain. Front curtains when the light in on allows people outside complete visibility inside. The bath and shower door is not working and cannot be closed, the bath faucet is leaking heavily. The beds were good and clean but I would skip due to the above not a good experience I'd rather pay extra and not have the lack of privacy and low rate facilities.

Stayed 1 night at Motel Ingham. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Right across from TYTO Wetlands and the information centre, but about a 10min walk to main town centre (nice walk during daylight along the wetlands boardwalk). Floors were tiled and with it being wet season, would just suggest having a floor mat at the door to wipe shoes as you enter.

I have stayed at this motel before and the owners then kept the motel very clean and tidy. But when we arrived at the motel, the S/C was not blowing cold air out, so we checked the intake filter and it was so full of dust that that is why the A/C was not getting air. The room was dirty in places around windows and ledges, and the shower needed to have a professional look at it as it was loose where it was attached to the wall and if moved it would likely break off. I could not recommend the motel to anyone in the condition we found the room. The grass outside the units needed to be mowed as it was over 200 mm high in places.
