“The property is well situated about half way if doing the Douro drive loop. Grounds are lovely with rooms overlooking vineyards - very serene and quiet. Lots of onsite parking. Staff encourage picking and eating fruit off the trees - the oranges are excellent! There is a nice pool area.
At check in staff member was very helpful suggesting points of interest, restaurants, etc.

“Great location, clean, classy, the view from the pool area is exceptional. Breakfast was great, the staff was very helpful. Safe, locked garage for parking. You will not regret staying here!”

“You must have a car while visiting this property. Otherwise there is nothing to do. There is a very nice outdoor pool that is not heated. So it must be warm enough outside to enjoy it.
The hotel offers a nice breakfast. There is no bar or restaurant at the hotel. About a half mile walk from the hotel is a very expensive restaurant with a limited menu. I don't believe it is open for lunch. Another reason you need a car.
During check in I noticed a large hose slightly larger than a dryer...

“Elvira and Katerina were one of the highlights, just after the beautiful surroundings and installations.
We reached the hotel by rental car from Porto, 1 hour and 40 minutes. The hotel is on top of a hill full of vineyards, and what a beautiful view of the river the hotel has.
In the morning breakfast is served beautifully. You can buy wine from the Quinta by glass or bottle, good quality.
The hotel has no restaurant so you have to go to town for lunch and dinner.

“The hotel was lovely, the staff was so kind and the entire property smelled like orange blossoms from the trees next to the hotel. The provided breakfast buffet was so good and fresh and the staff also offered individual dishes as well as espressos! My only "complaint" would be that the location has very limited restaurants, like only 3 and 2 of them were closed on Mondays! Bring some snacks and you will love the hotel!”

“Way up on the mountainside with a beautiful view of the valley and the Douro River. Valeria is a wonderful host and the place is truly something special. The beds are super comfortable, the bathrooms fantastic and she thought of every detail. ”
