We booked this last minute and saw the great reviews. Everything was great, loved the “cabin” feel, great beds. Very clean and nice to see young staff working together. Hopefully next time on site bar/pub will be available, however various options close by.

Such a lovely property. Due to the age of the property I wasn’t expecting it to feel so clean with a fresh new cedar smell. The beds were exceptionally comfortable with high end linens. The outside area overlooking the bay was the most pleasant surprise. We took advantage of the gas fire pits on a cool morning. We were in a double queen room and it was perfect for our one night stay. So many nice details from the clothes steamer to the nice toiletries. I am a “hotel snob” and I was very impressed. Will definitely stay at Tamarack Lodge when back in Traverse City.

One of the best places we've ever stayed at in the World. Many surprises and delights. ie everything was spotless (clean), Electric fire-place in the room, Soaker Tub and Shower in the room, Beautiful life like pictures everywhere, Large TV screen, Fire Pits on the water front of the property, BBQ and Fire Pit in a separate place closer to the bay area, Two nice Beaches, All the staff and housekeep staff very professional, even a pool table in the in reservation check-in area. We go to Traverse City MI every year and going forward we will be staying at the Tamarack Lodge. Many Thanks to all that made our stay awesome. Mr. & Mrs. Robert W Johnson

Amazing stay. We were upgraded from a corner suite to a two bedroom suite. Beautiful! Took one star away due to jet tub not working. Not that big of a deal. Have stayed at this facility multiple times. We love it. The new building and facilities were stunning. Plan to stay again soon.
