The staff was really sweet, but this property is quite dilapidated and neglected. I can say that one positive is that there were no bedbugs--I fully expected them. And it was quiet. A very cheap room that you could book in an extreme emergency.

I chose this hotel because it advertised as family friendly, said there was an arcade, and that there was a rollaway bed available for $10, microwave in the room, pool tables in the bar. There was no microwave in the room, no rollaway bed available, the “arcade” was gambling machines, the pool tables were no longer there. The fridge in the room was leaking all over the floor. The balcony felt like it was going to fall out from under my feet. We needed a couple of plates for the room for food, they denied this even though there is an attached restaurant in the hotel. The front staff was accommodating by giving us a room with two beds, to make up for no rollaway bed. The bartender was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. The bar was cool and vintage. The room was clean, just needs updating. I do not appreciate the false advertisement of this place. If it did not have the amenities that were listed, I would not have stayed here. The front staff were somewhat friendly, but didn’t seem to care that we did not have the amenities that were shown. I would not recommend staying at this establishment.

The bathroom fan runs continuously, becoming "white noise". Room was warm without adjustment. The "view" was the sidestreet corner. Place is somewhat isolated.

This place is like traveling back in time to the 1980s. All of the complaints about the furniture and facilities being dated are true and that's honestly the best part. These folks could even lean into it a little harder. It's like Twin Peaks, on my way to the bathroom in the adjoining restaurant I found a secret casino. It was wild. Powerful airconditioning, full black out curtains, solid sound proof walls, and heavy furniture. 10/10 will stay again.

Great spot to crash, fantastic, courteous and sympathetic staff, always there to help when needed. Clean rooms, many stores around such as convenience stores, Uniprix, Jean Coutu, Métro, Dollarstore and a Small mall. Very close to the sanctuary in case you are looking for Jesus and fairly priced.

Wouldn't be my first choice

Our stay overall was fine, it was a last minute booking when our other nearby stay fell through so we didn't have many options. The condition of the motel was a bit eerie, felt like a renovated inpatient facility or detention center. All that being said, it was surprisingly clean and our sheets were fresh. The A/C unit was falling out of the hole carved in the wall, but it worked and made the room cold as desired. The restaurant/bar closed at 9pm so we weren't able to try the food and drink.

I usually go there for business but one particular reason why I love going to Penn mass is the staff. All the representatives are welcoming and kind. During my last stay, I obtain a room with a tub and that was so cool hope to get the same next time.

The gentleman at the reception was very kind, but the room was dirty, smelled bad, the bed not comfortable at all. It is an old hotel that needs maintenance, and renovation.
