The room was cleaned and the hotel was located at the great location. Daily water bottle service was thoughtful.

It's deep in the mountain and you can enjoy the summer green of the Shirakami. You may need a car to get there but I chose to go by myself, took a taxi between the hotel and Futatsui station, which gave me a wonderful opportunity of talking with a driver who spoke true local dialect of Fujisato area. Hotel staff were all kind. At the souvenir shop, you'll find nice local items like handicrafts and unique food. Rooms and facilities are all clean. Very comfortable!

The staff were helpful, and the breakfast buffet offered both Japanese and Western-style options, which was a nice touch. This hotel is a good choice for a one-night stay after sightseeing or a business trip. The building felt a bit old, and our room was a bit dark, so I took one star off. however, the bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. Overall, it was a good hotel.
