Nice and cozy and convenient location, kind staff
It was nice hotel except the Ramada period. And complementary water was served only first one day. There is no Iron and weight measure. There is too many mosquito in the lobby. But there is corby machine which is pants flat machine, it was so nice and convenience. And the location is very convenient. There is medina(souk=bazar=market) nearby hotel. Also there are too many cafe with restaurant. (In Ramadan period they will close until 8 PM). But the staffs are very kind.

무난한 숙박, 편리한 교통, 손쉬운 쇼핑
교통이 편하고 시내 중심가라 엘젬이나 수스등 지방을 다니는데 편리하고 간단한 쇼핑하기에 매우 편리. 그러나 호텔 내부가 좀더 세련되고 깨끗하게 업데이트 되었으면 하는 아쉬움이 있음. 부페 음식은 입맛에 좀 안맞는 경향이 있음. 직원들은 대체적으로 친화적이고 서비스도 만족할만함.

Dear Guest, We thank you for your last booking at our hotel. We are sorry about the problem you had with mosquitoes. Mosquitoes come from the hotel environment not from the inside of the hotel, they are living at the avenue trees and when you open your window they come into your room. For the inside of the hotel, we are always bringing special companies to clean the hotel from all kinds of insects but for the hotel environment, it is a government mission and we can not do nothing instead. You had to ask the recpetion desk to send you the spray or the anty mosquito diffuser. We thank you for your comment and we wish to welcome you back with us.

Great location
Great location in the middle of downtown and good price, but definitely does not deserve 5 stars. Maximum 3 stars. Cosy room, but very rude and arrogant front desk staff.

Good location in the center at the Main Street of the city. Shops, restaurant and bars walking distance. Negatives: my room had bed bugs. So I changed and the second room had the toilet flushing intermittently. I paid the taxes at booking but the manager demanded me to pay again. The rooms are being scavenged by workers who come in pairs to drop a towel or sugar or a bottle of water hoping the occupants are not in. One stays on the lookout and the other one hunts in the room. Please try never to prepay with Expedia because you will get a run down inferior room. This has happened to me countless times in the past. I am not fussy so I am able to cope. Tunis is beautiful and the people are friendly.

L’hôtel Africa est mon point de chute à Tunis en Tunisie. J’y ai habité l’été 2023, j’y ai passé 2 jours en décembre et 1 jour en janvier. Tout est bien, l’hôtel, le personnel, les chambres, la restauration. Je vous le recommande.

asked for iron , now allowed you have to use laundary service . can't bring anything from outside without discussion with security , even bottle of water hotel full of mosquitos and when asked the answered we can't do anything to it . checked out from yesterday , didn't even asked for refund for remining night won't ever come back .

Hotel Africa is very nice as located on Av Bourguiba (center Tunis), walkable area around, staff is welcoming and rooms are correct, also half board is a good value for money. Only missing is good wifi in rooms (weak signal).

The property is as usual, but, this time, I want to add something, which is, ANIS, who is the concierge/ porter is the best among all the staff. He is experienced and extend more help to clients, even fixing problems that the reception guys has made and don't want to solve, so as to satisfy the client. An exception is also Soumaya of the reception, who has been doing her best to satisfy client. Therefore, if ever you stay there keep in touch with ANIS.

I would not rate that hotel as 5 stars , no simple services, or just bottle of waster in room. That hotel should be 3stars, I would waist my money on it. Novotel much better They supplied Kettle but nothing else I’m assuming you go cross street to buy a coffee or tea bags
