“The hotel is very well maintained with a nice rooftop bar/restaurant. You can see Bryant Denny from there as well as downtown Tuscaloosa. Location was great for downtown Tuscaloosa, you can easily walk to restaurants and shops. Staff was welcoming and nice. Answered our questions with a lot of info. Has valet parking but we didn't need it for a June visit. Short drive to UofA campus, but probably not walkable.”

“I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I informed the front desk that I could no longer stay for the second night and requested a refund for the unused night. Instead of trying to help, I was told I could check out, but they could not guarantee a refund. They still charged me for both nights, even though I only stayed one night. “Clean and comfortable hotel with a wonderful breakfast layout for guests. Paying $25 for parking was a little on the ridiculous side.”

“New, clean accomodation and all staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Did not like not having at least complimentary am coffee in the lobby. In room coffee is a one cup packet only and was not replentished during my stay.”

“On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming ladies. The lobby is spacious and bright. Our room was small, but functional and the bed was clean and comfortable. Although the bathroom was clean the edges and seals around the shower were a little moldy and in need of a good cleaning. The walls near and below the desk had some stains. Gave us the impression that the daily cleaning needed to be more thorough.”

“Properly grounds and staff were beautiful. The only issue was the hot water it took a long time to get hot and it didn’t get very hot. The towels and bed linen were soft and comfortable for showering and sleeping. I was in a suite and I would stay again in that exact same room,”

“Hotel was beautiful and front desk staff very nice. Had to go to desk 3 times to get bath towels and lotion because none in room. No ice bucket and no cleaning supplies or water in fitness room. Breakfast was not hot even though just put out. Got locked inside pool and front desk had to call maitinence to get me out . Local and was doing stay vacation but will never recommend this hotel”

“We did experience any issues except very early in the morning. Before we checked out of our room a part of the ceiling came crashing down due to water from the above room. The guest service staff came in to survey the situation and thanked us for letting them know what had occurred.”
