"The patio door didn’t work properly and we were told by the maintenance man that having to lift and drag the door to open and close it was ok and nothing needed to be done. The door was obviously in need of repair.
The fire alarm went off one night about midnight and we evacuated to the lobby. We looked for direction from hotel staff but there was no hotel staff in the building and a guest had to call 911. Someone we assumed was hotel staff arrived just before the fire department but he never said one word to all of us standing in the lobby. It appears there is a total lack of emergency training for the staff. It was an absolute gong show and thankfully it was an alarm problem and not an actual fire."
