"I called three times to confirm early check-in and got the virtual assistant and when transferred it said service provider is no longer available. We were never told there was a $40 charge for early check-in. Staff didn’t tell us where our room was or where there was an elevator. The beds were horrible!"

"I got this hotel for the value with a pool but the pool was not open. On Friday the person behind the desk who didn't speak English clearly implied it would be open on Saturday but it was not there for my weekend with my grandkids to swim didn't happen or I mean they didn't get to swim I would have changed hotels had I not believed the guy. Nothing online anywhere implies that there isn't a pool available"

"I was in Hastings to participate in the Run for the Roses 5k and my wife and I stayed at the Confluence. It was all that I had hoped it would be when I booked my stay. The hotel itself was amazing, situated right on the banks of the Mississippi River. The room was fantastic as was the staff. It's close to parks, restaurants and bars all within a few minutes walk. Will DEFINITELY book this hotel when we're in Hastings again"

"Breakfast was good. Waffles eggs sausage. Pretty decent. Hotel was ok. Room was ok. Not 4 stars but adequate. Beds were ok. Not much for covers, pretty thin. Thought we would use the pull out couch bed but it was pretty poor shape. Hardly any lighting and felt like a cave. Poor guy running the place was really nice and was really helpful."
