Scenic with great staff

Perfect little hideout just a 20 minute walk from the busy center of Ubud. The location offers beautiful views over rice fields, has a great restaurant and the most friendly staff I have ever encountered in a hotel. Will definitely stay here again if I am in the neighborhood.

Excellent all around! Very unique property! This was a bit of a splurge for us but definitely worth every penny! Gorgeous 'beehives', outstanding service by the property staff, and including the Bee Cafe with delicious food and occasional entertainment. The Hotel is in a unique setting in a quiet place but needs transportation to move around. The pictures are possibly old while the hotel opened a few years back. It needs renovation to be picture-perfect and the price you pay. A day stay is possibly ok. All activities are in the Komenika area.

The staff was really great and helpful. The food was tasty. There were a few mechanical issues such as the tub drain was stuck closed and wouldn't drain on the first day. Second day it was "fixed" but not really because it didn't hold water then and drained slowly, continuously. The doors didn't fully seal. Toilet seat lid just fell off. Our room was next to the lobby and it was quite noisy. You could hear everything. We asked to change rooms but were told that there were no other ones available. We wanted to check out an hour later so we asked the night before and were told that wouldn't be a problem. The next day we were told we couldn't check out later because the next guests were already on their way to the place . They should have prioritized taking care of the guests they had already over new guests which hadn't even arrived yet. Please be advised that the place is set back far from the main road and it was impossible to get a taxi like Grab, Gojek, or other to pick up there. Overall the place was OK but we wouldn't stay here again.

Todella hulppea hotelli kauniilla paikalla riisipellon kupeessa. Palvelu oli todella korkealaatuista ja huone ja uima-allas hyvin siistit. Ainoa huono puoli oli sijainti joka oli kaukana kaikesta, mutta hotelli tarjoaa päivittäin kuljetuksia Monkey Forestiin ja takaisin ilman lisäkustannuksia.

Super établissement tout neuf. La chambre était très spacieuse, le petit déjeuner l'un des meilleurs que l'on a eu à Bali! La carte change tous les jours, c'est top! La vue sur la rizière est splendide, vraiment c'était un hôtel très agréable où l'on souhaiterait passer plus de temps. Le seul point négatif c'est que c'est un peu loin du centre ville. On peut passer par un sentier derrière l’hôtel pour être en 30 min à pied au Ubud Palace, mais ce chemin n'est pas éclairé lorsqu'on rentre de nuit.
