The hotel is in a nice heritage building overlooking the lake with delightful views.
However our stay was not enjoyable. The shower didn’t produce hot water, the bathroom was grotty and towels appeared dirty. When we asked for our room to be cleaned there was no evidence that our bathroom had been.
The electrics were inconsistent, certain appliance did not work and on one occasion a socket exploded giving me a shock.
We reported the electrical problems and, in fairness, an electrician was called and the problem fixed, however there was no real apology or attempt to make good.
We reported the hot water issue and it was just dismissed.
Many of these things I would probably have accepted however we paid over £100 a night (11,000 rupees) for a Deluxe Suite.
A really unpleasant stay.
