Lovely comfy place

Very conveniently located to Interlaken West station and to local (free with guest pass) around town. Quiet. Great breakfast and great, friendly staff. Comfy bed with lively view of Jungfrau! Would stay here again!

Family Stay In Interlaken

Great location. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Great breakfast every morning. The rooms are fine and the beds are comfortable. It’s not luxurious, but we were very comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay in Aarburg Hotel and Cafe. The staff are friendly and the room is spacious with a view of the Aare river. The breakfast buffet for guests is delicious. We also enjoyed coming to the cafe downstairs for lunch. The location is great . We are able to walk to the train station and also walk around Interlaken for shopping. We loved our stay and we will want to stay here again next time.

The property is in a perfect location, in walking distance to everything. The staff is responsive. The room is clean, and the common area. Breakfast buffet is good. Our room has the mountain and river view. That was a treat. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Interlaken.

Very friendly staff, great breakfast, coffee and food options for lunch. Also a convenient location to Interlaken West. Room itself was very cozy and clean. Having a few more furniture might have made it even better. Entrance was little tricky with steep steps so could be difficult for older people.

Loved our stay at the Aarburg! Victoria and Rachel had been so helpful with trip and transport ideas. The guys were also awesome esp at breakfast. Love my latte and our scrambled eggs! They even gave me free latte to go!!!

A Charming Small Hotel

This is a wonderful small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms vary in size and are clean and modern. There is a very nice breakfast and the Cafe, which is popular with locals, serves good food. Mohler's Bakery just across the street is an added benefit. The Interlaken West train station is just a few blocks away and other services of the Unterseen neighborhood are close at hand.

Overall, the staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Ours was a very warm welcome, and help was extended every time we requested for something. We loved the place and would definitely come back again if we got a chance. Only issue we had was when we were leaving and had to park in the front (had no where else to park) to load the bags. We did end up blocking the bus/road, but 1 Irish hostess asked us to move not in a polite way. We found this very rude, considering that we were guests. At the same time, another host was very understanding, and told us that bus drivers don't like it when tourists block the road, which we certainly understand. I think the staff needs to keep their judgement to themselves and see if they can focus on their job, i.e. making the customers feel welcome.

The staff at this location, along with the food at the cafe, make it my best hotel stay in my 7 days in Switzerland! Small and right next to Old Town it's a perfect spot for a quiet stay. The staff were super friendly and gave great recommendations. The soup and salad "snack" at 4 PM was one of the highlights of my trip, so delicious! The breakfast that is included has incredible scrambled eggs and yummy breads and jams. Small room but it was just me, so it was perfect. The only thing I noted was there were no cups in the bathroom, but it was quickly fixed. The view in the morning can not be beat! Highly recommend!

Our stay at The Aaburg was memorable. The staff were very supportive and accomodating. Even after hours, they were able to help. The only thing, it is bit of a walking from the downtown, or main street and food options / tranist bus stop. If travelling with luggage without a car is going to be a bit challenging at times.

Amazing café/hotel and staff!

A wonderful hotel and cafe! The location is so amazing, and the view from the room window of the lake and mountains would keep me up at night, it is stunning! Everything in the room was great and I had no issues whatsoever. I was solo travelling and had done very little planning in advance but the staff were absolutely incredible. They helped me plan my days, gave recommendations and we had great conversations. The staff were genuinely outstanding, and I really appreciated their help and kindness. A very lovely experience and I cannot wait to visit again!

An enjoyable stay here. Excellent value for money and a unique stay above an excellent cafe. Location is halfway between the 2 railway stations OST and west. Bus stop is close and goes to either station. Our room over looked the Interlaken channel such a lovely view. Remember this is a budget stay so there is no elevator or air con but the windows opened in our room for fresh and coolish air. Comfy bed in good sized room. immaculate bathroom albeit minimum size. Plenty of hot water and a guest lounge with fridge to keep food cool, microwave and tea making. Breakfast included in tariff with amazing coffee and scrambled eggs freshly made to order. I would return but ask for a room on level 1 or pack a smaller case to carry up the stairs.

Fantastic boutique hotel. Service was amazing. All the girls were so helpful but huge thank you to Victoria. We stayed in room with a balcony and although the room was small we didn’t care as having a balcony with an incredible view was way more important to us. The hotel was very central. Close to both train stations and main walking and shopping area and right down the street was the best pizza. We brought it back to our room and sat on the balcony. I have nothing bad to say. Just an amazing hotel
