"We absolutely loved our stay at Hibernation Station — it ended up being our favorite place of the entire trip. Our private cabin felt cozy but still spacious enough to spread out and settle in comfortably. Everything was clean on arrival, and the in‑cabin fireplace was easy to use and added a really relaxing, warm atmosphere in the evenings.
The property was quiet overall, which made it a great place to unwind after long days in the park. It’s a little farther from town than some places, but still close enough that we could have walked if we wanted to. The outdoor hot tub was another highlight — private, peaceful, and perfect for ending the night.
Staff were very friendly during check‑in and throughout our stay. We genuinely missed this place when we left and wished we could have stayed longer. We’d come back in a heartbeat."
"The radiator in the room was banging ALL NIGHT. Literally sounded like 2 metal water bottles continuously being hit against each other. No one got any sleep, which sucks when you’re driving around trying to see the sights. Kids grouchy the whole next day. The hotel is obviously charging for the location being inside the park but the rooms are super outdated. The faucet also continuously dripped, but luckily no one heard it because of…….the radiator."
"Property looks a bit tired, but was fine for our visit to Yellowstone.
Get to breakfast early, esp if there is tour group there as things ran out quickly."
"Enjoyed our stay here. Staff very friendly. Prob with directTV connection promptly resolved. Heat/AC, MW, fridge all good. No parking issues. Rm 205 could use a new replacement door bottom-threshold sweep to seal 1" gap. Rolled bath mat filled it for the nite. Thanks!"
