“The restaurant is very dismal. They only allow food on the second floor which makes it very restricted on seating etc. Some staff are clearly not interested in serving guests. There's very restricted option on drinks (non-alcoholic). In the breakfast there's no orange juice. Food itself is ok. The lighting in the second floor is really not for a dinner environment. “We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ycona resort in Zanzibar. From the moment we entered the resort the workers made us feel like we were at home. They allowed us to have an early check in after our morning flight. We stayed in the beach villa, which was absolutely magnificent. Private pool, great views of the ocean, and a rooftop tub as well.
