“We really enjoyed our stay. The Inn is on a fairly busy road, which means it's easy to find with loads of parking - but most of the better known walks are a drive away. We ate at the restaurant both nights as it was so delicious and the team was lovely and welcoming too. Great ambiance and lovely management.”

“Excellent experience. The owner could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The room was snug but welcoming and well appointed and the breakfast experience was really special. We will return as we did not have time to sample the cakes in the tearoom on this occasion and they looked delicious. Would definitely recommend.”

“We found the Fountain a quirky B&B which actually provide breakfast! Our room was a reasonable size with 2 single beds with a view over the fountain. The room was clean and beds comfortable although the stairs up to the room were quite steep and narrow so we left our luggage in the car and only took what was needed for the one night stay. We had trouble with the shower and would rate this as average.”

“Very friendly staff, very clean with everything you need. I would definitely stop again it's a great little place to get a good night's sleep. Quiet and comfortable. Only downside is no mobile signal but that is typical for the area. ”

Beverley is a wonderful host and from the moment she greeted us was full of advice, and tips to make our stay more comfortable. The bed was so comfortable I crashed out and didn’t stir at all. As others have stated everywhere was immaculately clean. ”
